    Brace yourself, reading between the lines, i think you will find fans are going to be asked to make a regular payment (by DD) of an amount they can afford at a frequency they are happy with (monthly or Quartely) therefor giving a regular income to the club.

    Well here we go, first thanks to everyone for their suggestions, so many could have gone for, in the end i have decided as follows; HJK v Pepo (home win) Finish Suomen Cup Sat 12.00 Atletico v Girona (home win) Sat 15.15 (my pick also Nutty) Benfica v Chavez (home win) Sat 18.15 Porto v Tondela (home win) Sat 21.00 PAOK Salonika v Apollon Smyrnis (home win) Sun 13.00 Bayern Munch v Werder Bremen (home win) Sun 14.30 Deliberated over these all evening, apologies if i haven''t picked your suggestion. Jamie, good luck with your selections. For my suggestion for the City bet i see a boring 1-0 home win. Have a great weekend all, lets hope we see another 3 points for City and make a bit for our boy''s and girls fund pot. OTBC

    Dont disagree Legend Iwan about his signing going down as one of the worst, we have a saying at work that i''m sure you have heard off, "everytime you point the finger, remember there are 3 others pointing back" which makes me wonder, how much was down to him and how much to the management last season and is he a circumstance of his paydeal ?

    Seems like we have more self righteous fans than is fair, football supporters have to live all the emotions, and if you spend a couple of hundred quid on an away day for you and your family (as happened to me the other week) and you feel your team was going through the motions, you are most likely to feel "angry" as the 1,200 who made the trip to Burton did at the time, equally we then take hope when we see results / performances like Bristol. Mind you fans have been called all sorts on here, from Numpties to pant wetters, from morons to well we all know that anyway.OTBC and sort it out Webber [;)]

    Agree totally with Tooting, didnt here anyone say dont sign him back in the day, and after the Liverpool game we thought we had won the lottery.Glad he has gone to Hearts rather (still not finalised) than another SPL club, i am lead to believe Hearts are paying around 10k a week of his wages, which over a year equates to £500,000. They have a great academy and are bringing through some great youngsters, watch out for 16 year old Harry Cochrane, and these youngsters will, in my opinion, only flourish from someone like Naismith. Finally, a bit like Russ, i think in spite of some of the stick he has had from our own fans, he has only ever shown professionalism and acted as  such, now where is my tin hat....................

    In my time have enjoyed watching the likes of Eadie, Bellamy, Hucks etc and more recently Wes, Maddison and Pritch, well just haven''t seen enough of him that is biggest disappointment. Somehow think he won''t be the only sale we are disappointed in during this window.

    The sister chant s boring and slightly disturbing, however i quite laughed at the Millwall chant "you''ve got six, we only have 5, we only have 5 fingers and you have 6" or words to that effect. It is banter admittedly not nice but don''t let it get you down.

    For me 10th is as good as i can see, big question is will we end January with a stronger or weaker squad than we currently have ? my fear is considerably weaker.

    Today was the best we have played n a good while, but Burton was 2 points dropped, no matter how you dress it up, think that was poor and hopefully DF will learn from it, IMO
