  1. I have an (Australian) relative, who works in Pathology, and regularly tests (blood/drug etc) the Aussie cricket team, and she can''t stand the arrogant so and so''s (It is quite funny seeing her near implode when talking about Nathan Lyon!) I said (at the end of the Ashes) to her that I begrudgingly admired the likes of Warner/Smith as players, but she soon shot me down!
  2. Oh dear kg, I see that nothing seems to have changed over many years. I remember playing there, and we were 12-0 up at half time, of course, they , and their ''supporters'' didn''t take too kindly to that, and the 2nd half turned out to be a punch fest, which we (especially our star No 8) definitely came out 2nd best, and we lost 18-12! With an attitude like that, the team, and their Coach deserve each other (as well as relegation!) Well done Cam!
  3. Liked Dan Roans''s doggidness also http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/43562872
  4. They need to be punished severely. What a crock, that came out of their press conference. There is far too much waffle, when it comes to excuses, in all sports. Cut the carp out, and have some straight talking "Regrets"? Yep, I''m sure you do have regrets............at getting caught. FFS
  5. I''ve had tears at 3 games in my lifetime, and this was one of them.
  6. I watched some of that, also TGD, and noticed a big Norwich connection, with WFLGH, Ady Pennock, Matthew Bates, and Steve Arnold. Wasn''t the best of games, but what a strike to win it!
  7. International weeks are inherently difficult, so the VERY best of luck. I would like Sutton to beat Chester for me , please.
  8. We were staying at the side of Lake Taupo that day, Rusty. Doing a bit of a tour (Rotorua/Hobbit/Bungee etc) before heading back to Auckland, for Xmas
  9. I was actually in New Zealand then, and bounced out of bed, when I turned my phone on, and saw the score.
  10. When I go to the Beer Festival in St Andrews, I drink Porter, and do not waver too much from that colour. As has been intimated already, I am not one for the people who eulogize about the dozens and dozens of different beers about, I just go for the craic! A bit left field, but in the Summer, I do like the odd Stella Cidre
  11. Brentford are moving to a new stadium, and there''s NO mention of pubs , on each corner of their new gaff http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43459577
  12. I don''t know the man, but know the name, and the face, and that is all because of the Norwich City family. I wish him and his family well.
  13. Go Tilly! Make sure we give plenty of the ball to Madders, in the 2nd half, for a chance of more money!
  14. I have a sneaky feeling that both Liverpool and us will win, so please take that as my selections please. Good luck Pickers
  15. bugger is a word that begins with b, and sounds like rugger.
  16. How can that be allowed (the word, as well as the penalty!) , yet bugger isn''t?
  17. Brighton vs Arsenal Stephens (Brighton) gets to the ball first, clears the ball but ''catches'' Wilshere, on the follow through - yellow card Kolasinac (Already been booked) leads with his shoulder on Schelotto, in the air , no card Someone may tell me the Laws applied may be correct, but if that is so, they need changing. Either that, or the Ref is incompetent and may need VAR for those decisions...........................
