1. He looks like a Britpop cast-off.  Anyone remember Menswear? http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://undertheradarmag.com/Mens_SD0210102_website.jpg&imgrefurl=http://undertheradarmag.com/menswear.html&usg=__g8plIfmhXt4JkgJkTXg6vrTy1-k=&h=237&w=360&sz=109&hl=en&start=8&um=1&tbnid=jhXwjq1nSFqapM:&tbnh=80&tbnw=121&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dchris%2Bgentry%2Bmenswear%26hl%3Den%26um%3D1
 2.
get a life
Why?  The bloke isn''t very good.  Gunn and the staff obviously realised that and we''ve hardly missed him have we?
 3.

Now do as CA says, she is the queen of the board and don''t upset her.[;)] Its ok to do a ''silly'' post here, but when someone posts a topic on a moderator coming home after a flaming holiday, pointless. Thats a different matter,
I think a welcome back Pete the Mod thread after a month''s absence is slightly different to someone starting 3 threads tonight asking a Plymouth fan to comment on the game when he''s obviously not home yet??
Is it? Whats the difference, you moan constantly about people posting crap and multiple topics, I suggest a welcome back for some bloke who sits there and checks bits and bobs is in the same league. If a PAFC supporter comes in and decides to try goad, abuse or just be a complete muppett, then fuck them and let them get the abuse.
It''s like watching two bald men fighting over a comb...
 4.

I personally dont think the board will get off the hook survive or not, but we need to support the team 100% to have any chance of avoiding the drop.I think Delia should be trying very hard to find an exit strategy. The concept of 20 M for new shares for Mr Cullum with hindsight looks like the best option all round as her shares are probably all but valueless at the moment, but if she kept them and we did manage to suceed she could get her money back with profits. Sadly thats last years news. we need someone to run the club with vision, something that has been sadly lacking in the last 12 years
I personally think that Delia doesn''t actually want to ''exit''......She and the present incumbents, will just as always, allow the close-season to diffuse the anger and for them to keep a low profile (as the norm), ride out the annoyance and general supporter frustration whatever happens on May 3rd regarding whether we stay up - or go down. They''ll all be there in the Directionless Box again next season.....regardless. She and her hubster don''t want to stand-down with an empty purse or wallet.
While I still think the key issue is whether anyone is prepared to buy the club, I think that a tipping point has been reached this season. Although we got close to the edge last year, we had the long unbeaten run and Ched, which created a relatively positive mood even though we nearly cocked it up at the end. What''s more there was  a genuine expectation that we would build this season. This year, however, we are REALLY looking over the edge with no obvious saviour and many of us believe that we are going down. Add this to the lack of funds, vacillation about managers and the two public meetings where the fans were effectively asked for solutions, and I believe that many of us who would have given the board the benefit of the doubt have now lost any faith in them. All I can see, unless someone comes in, is more of the same.
Some good points made here.  It depresses me a bit that if we claw our way to safety this season, it could all be in vain next time around.  I really had patience this season because I expected mid-table and progress, but its been a near disaster.  We''ll hear the usual stuff from the board about new signings and "a fresh start", but I have no confidence in them at all now.  I know however there''s nobody in the wings waiting to take over, and that doesn''t fill me with joy. If we stay up, I''ll stay and applaud those who may take us to safety (Gunny, Crook, etc and the players that are giving their all such as Croft, Doc and so on).  If any of the board dare show their faces on the lap of honour then I hope they get a very different reaction.
 5. Shacks has been immense since he''s come back.  Even in the games we lost, he looked one of our better players, and probably the first time that his partnership with Doc actually seems to have clicked. Doc has been excellent all season.  Player of the Year is between himself and Croft.
 6. Didn''t offer a lot for a team that badly needed the three points.  Their defence was okay, but I don''t think Marshall had a save to make - we rarely looked troubled. I''d be more confident of us staying up than them, and that''s without wearing rose-tinted glasses.
 7.
Some are, some aren''t, it''s a lottery really :-)
Absolutely.  The ones we have now look up for it.  Some of the others have not.  Same as permament signings.
 8. The turnaround has been astonishing.  Its not like we have even been lucky as both wins have been totally deserved.  The effort and desire are there, and the football has been pretty good at times.  It would be interesting to count how many shots on target Cardiff and Plymouth have had, because I doubt its many.  The defence has been immense. I''d be worried if I was a Plymouth fan right now.
 9. Its a bit like last season where the clubs near the top just looked as if they didn''t want to go up.  I think also we''re going to have another year where the promoted teams finish on a ''lowish'' points tally, while a relegated side may get 50+.  The way its going, I think we''ll get a shock victory against somebody (Reading, Brum, Swansea) but drop points in a game we''re expected to win.
 10.
I didn''t see that Ging. I was slightly annoyed that none of the players come up the Barclay and give us a clap, instead we had a few waves from the half way line. We should be getting them up each end saying a thankyou, we did.
Crofty stayed behind though.  To be honest, it doesn''t bother me much nowadays like it used to.
 11.
Fozzy, Matty, Russell and Bell protested vehemently against the sacking of Roeder. Expect all to be gone in the summer
Interesting.  One gone (Bell) and two out of the squad (Fozzy, Patty) so there may be some truth in that.  Could depend who is in charge though (although you have dropped heavy hints on that too).
 12. Considering he''d only had 2 starts and 2 subs appearances all season, he looked pretty sharp.  Promising start.
 13. Thanks Andy.  That goalkeeping error looks even worse on here. [:$] Good finishes by Mooney and Cody.
 14. I thought the ref was going to disallow it for some reason.
 15. I''d be surprised if he''s here next season, but if he goes then he''ll go with my best wishes.  He could easily have sulked and sat on his backside until the end of the season, but instead he''s busting a gut to keep us up.  He''s not the most perfect player, but right now we need people like him who can graft if we have any chance of surviving.
 16. I don''t think we''ve seen the last of Cort.  Think fitness has caught up with him somewhat in the last few games.  Would be quite happy if I didn''t see Jamie in a Norwich shirt again this season.
 17. For a short term measure, Gunny might be the man.  I''m not sure we should build our long-term future around him though. Personally I hope he keeps us up and walks away on a high.
 18. I just don''t know.  The last week and a half have not given us any clues.  Poor against Coventry, a scrappy win at QPR, a hopeless display at Blackpool, then a thrilling win against Cardiff.  I can''t tell half the time if we are underperforming or overperforming - in fact you can label that against a lot of teams in this bizarre league. Its going to be ''Survival Sunday'' again isn''t it?
 19. Much better atmosphere in the Snakepit tonight.  It all seemed to click on and off the pitch - was a bit of a siege mentality at times.
 20. A bit over-fussy but we were good enough tonight for it not to matter.
 21. Marshall really does go from extreme highs to extreme lows.  He''s capable of the most brilliant saves and he was a class act tonight.  His all round game was good too - I don''t think he missed a cross all night. As I''ve said before, we don''t have anybody else who''s ready or better.  Not yet anyway.
 22. As soon as he was put through I didn''t doubt he would score.  Great pace and finish.  Have we got a new secret weapon on the bench?
 23. There''s really no criticism that can be levelled at anybody tonight - even the fans who were right behind the side from the off.  It was a complete siege mentality towards the end but in truth, Cardiff were generally kept at bay.  Considering we had players who had barely figured or not played at all (Gow, Macdonald, Carney, Leijer, Mooney) that was a mammoth effort and a million miles from the last home game.  It was great to see fresh blood in the side who actually gave a damn unlike some of the useless lags we''ve had this season.  I just hope they can keep it up. I felt shellshocked after the Coventry game.  I feel the same tonight but for different reasons.
 24.

They''re hardly in the team anyway.  Most of the side recently has been permanent signings.
Finally! Somebody noticed. This "loanees don''t care" thing has been going on since Sibierski turned out to be s**t. But it doesn''t legislate for Martin Taylor, Huckerby, Crouch, Cooper, Harper, Johansson, Grounds, Kennedy, Bertrand (last season), Ched etc etc who over the years all turned out to be pretty good, and help the cause massively. It''s the players on a decent wedge, with a decent length contract that STILL aren''t producing the goods (I''m looking at you, Jon. And you Jamie, don''t stare at the floor. And you Sammy, where''s your form gone? And don''t think I can''t see you hiding in the corner, Mr Marshall) that should be ashamed.
Mook, I think there have been loanees who don''t give a monkeys in the last few seasons, so I''m not defending the policy as a whole - 15 loans in one season is ridiculous.  The problem is also there have been loan players who have not been very good or very fit. You''re right about the permanent players though - they''ve been just as big a let down.
 25.

About our side. We have 4 crap strikers, probably the worst four in this league at the moment.  Cureton couldnt finish his dinner, Cort is a donkey with 1 leg, Cody signed from non league Dartford and Killen is a waste of breath. Ok wide players, Crofty is most improved player this year but cant cross or score.  Hoolahan has been a total nightmare all season because we dont know where to play him. Left and right backs are rubbish, cant defen and offer nothing going forward.  Had about 7 left backs this year.   Our 2 centre backs have often been mistaken for Barry and Paul Chuckle.   Keeper is Marshall who is ok but dodgy on crosses and installs no confidence in his defence.  All the best for tonight, you will beat us.
-4 of course, only been 3, and why do people keep slagging off Hoolahan, he is the best technical player we have, his problem is, he is too clever for the rest of the team, that is why half the missed passes are missed, but with a player like him, you have to accept mistakes, or he wont get anywhere.
It just feels like we''ve had 7 left backs!  [:)]
