1. The really depressing thing is that our squad is so weak and inexperienced, Cureton is probably one of our better strikers.  Says it all really.
2. I''m just shellshocked today.  This is the first time all season that I''ve really thought we ARE going down.  I''ll keep hoping though.
3. So basically, booing affects the players and cheering encourages them, according to a psychologist. Erm...thanks.  I never realised that!
4. Think we can forget about Donny now.  I always thought they appeared a better side than bottom three material. Looking more and more like a good point we got at the Keepmoat.  Gives us a bit of hope anyway.
5. I think we''re one of the few clubs that Bellamy has left on good terms!
6. Martin O''Neill in his playing days at City?  I''m sure he may have been on there.  Pretty certain Mike Walker was on during his first spell as manager.
7. "Can you stop leaning forward?"  Oh dear!  I''ve had encounters like that in the past. Remember once having an almighty row with two old blokes at Brighton who kept blaming me for obstructing their view, ignoring the fact there were about 10 rows of people in front of me all standing.
8. Rather worringly, we spent around £500,000 over the course of the 05-06 season, which was among the highest in the Division, so its not  a new thing with us.
9. I just don''t read them.  Most interviews with players (of any club) are so dull, I just can''t be bothered.
10.
It''s       UGLY, UGLY, UGLY viewed from inside the stadium and didn''t have to be. That''s the point. Even the poor of the land appreciate aesthetics. It looks like something built in the old, communist East Germany. It''s what happens when an arrogant, unaccountable minority without sensibilites achieve the power they never expected to have and, as usual, finish up mis-using that power. Carbuncle is right. But one fine day it will be demolished - mark my words. Just wait and see. OTBC
Bly, you''re right.  It is ugly.  Sadly, some people on here would defend the board even if we knocked the Barclay Stand down and replaced it with a car park.
11. Hasn''t this been an issue in previous seasons?  I''m sure we were near the top the agent''s league when Worthy was still around.  Poor management in any case, and certainly not all down to Glenn Roeder.
12. Regardless of whether it makes any money or not, from an architectural point of view, I think it looks bloody awful.  I''ve never liked it because it destroys the symmetry of the stands and its the first thing you see as you approach the stadium from the Barclay side by road, train or foot.  Its badly thought out and looks an eyesore. I know other clubs have done the same, but that doesn''t mean its right.
13.

Macdonald - not fit and not ready.
Not on loan cost £60,000.
Ooops!  Not sure why I included him there.
14. We stay up, everybody forgives the board, gives them their "last chance", and we start afresh.  Gunn and the ''Dream Team'' are given new contracts, new signings are promised while season tickets hit 20,000.  At the beginning of August after much speculation, Sammy Clingan and Lee Croft depart, and are replaced with ''promising'' new signings, free transfers, and some more loan players who have played an average of 3 games in the last 12 months.  After a couple of decent early displays, we are knocked out of the League Cup, and our form tails off, leaving us in the bottom six by October.  After some rallying calls of "Don''t Panic" by the management and a stormy AGM, City hit bottom place by Christmas.  After cries of "Gunn Out" following a miserable FA Cup 3rd Round Exit, plus threats of a season ticket boycott, Bryan and his team are replaced by the recently fired Tony Pulis, because they need a manager with experience who is a bit nasty, and somebody who isn''t too close to the club. Pulis rallies the team to survival, the board are forgiven, season tickets hit 20,000, the following season starts brightly, tails off, Pulis sacked for somebody nicer who has local ties, etc,etc...[:''(]
15. What may not have helped him either is that he''s had at least 3 goalkeeping coaches over the last couple of years (4 if you count Gunn''s caretaker role in the position).  Its not the absolute reason for his inconsistency, but it must have had an effect.
16.
Was clark ever able to put his point across to the arrogant Roeder, I doubt it
Think he may have been the ''glue'' between Roeder and the players.  Its no coincidence our performances tailed off after he left.
17.
A spot on post - hate to sound defeatest but all too late now and as you say protests should have started ages ago; say about four years ago. The board and apparently 80% of so called fans are happy to settle for mediocrity and League 1. Its amazing how the board are not taken to task by the local media; they get away with it year after year and week after week; they appear to be accountable to no one and continue to blindly believe that we can escape our current predicament.
The sad thing is that if we stay up, the joy will be taken away because they''ll be instantly forgiven and next season will be their "last chance".  Like it was after Grant left, after Roeder left, after Gunny eventually leaves, etc .
18.
Cannot see how he has improved things whatsoever , he has taken us into the bottom 3 and we are the most out of form side down there , really fail to see how we could have been in a worse position if we had of stuck with Roeder.
At the moment, things are exactly the same.  We''re taking about a point a game, as we were under GR.  The team is Roeder''s too, considering our latest ''signings'' are all injured, unfit or not very good. Please don''t think I''m a Roeder fan by the way and don''t think I''m blaming Gunny for all our ills.  I just don''t think giving him the job in the summer, regardless of what happens, is a smart move.
19.
http://www.sundaymail.co.uk/sport-news/scottish-football/english-football/2009/02/22/bryan-gunn-i-ve-landed-dream-job-as-norwich-boss-but-i-want-it-full-time-78057-21143331/ Would you want Gunny & Crew to stay on beyond the end of the season - whether we stay up or not?
No.  I don''t see this as anything but a short term measure.
20. We haven''t got anybody else unfortunately.  Marshall is certainly inconsistent, but he''s the best we''ve have.
21.

Which Uni you going to? My daughter off to Leicester in September (As long as she gets 3 B''2 at A level) Still renewed her season ticket so she can go to games if she comes home at all at weekends. Anyone from the Leicester area with a spare place in a car on match days?
I went to the University of Leicester - she''ll have a brilliant time if she gets in.  If she goes for Halls of Residence in Year 1, advise her that Digby Hall is the best one for bus routes & general sociability - they are a bit more switched on than the other halls of res.
So did I!  Well, it was the old Poly.  Great 3 years, although the City has changed beyond recognition now.
22. Gow - injured. Macdonald - not fit and not ready. Killen - not fit Leijer - not fit Carney - ??? I''m not knocking these guys because they may be decent players, but if you get bodies in who haven''t played in months or have a reputation for injuries (and that includes Roeder signings like Kennedy, Bates, Rigters, Sibierski) then you have to wait an age for them to catch up - Carl Cort is a prime example.  We don''t have time for this now. Gunn effectively has Roeder''s team still and that''s hugely worrying.
23. Fozzy is nothing special most of the time, although looks decent on his day - he certainly had some fine games last season.  He''s not the walking disaster that some people make out and in my view, Russell hasn''t done enough to earn a place ahead of him anyway. Pattison is a strange one.  Looked terrific when he came on against Barnsley, yet has faded out of the picture very quickly.  Something isn''t right there.
