1.
Maybe fatty. But then our beating them has contributed to their position...
This is a very good point
 2. The reality is norwich have been forunate with fixture list. Norwich have played 3 of the bottom 4 teams . But have stuggled with any half decent team. Norwich have not beaten anyone above 12th place. Next few games will be a good test
 3. Not true Last season ipswich beat wednesday, derby and burnley also drew with middlesboro
 4. I thought this sounded a bit nuts "decades" meaning more than 1 decade . So i looked up results in last 2 decades ipswich have won this tie 6 times. So maybe you meant best chance for ipswich to win in 6 years (4 of which the clubs have been in different leagues)
 5. The ironic thing is that ipswich fan is from Norwich haha thats the whole point of that thread hes getting train from his home (norwich) to ipswich so he can get train back to norwich with Ips fans. you norfolk lot are odd
 6. Bart man has some previous at saving Norwich pens http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8410648.stm
 7.
Key result fatty is the 3rd one down
Yep it is the most relevant is it not, we have had a result against every top 8 team either home or away except Norwich. Either way there wont be a lot in the game Mick sets up to contain teams (which isn''t the prettiest) but it does keep the game tight. Means finger biting till the end hopefully Murph will reach 28th goal of the season to win it in the 90th minute and it will all be fine
 8.
I am strangely relaxed. Having stood in Portaloo road and watched the best they could do I really can''t see them causing us much trouble at home. They have a poor away record
Aways forms pretty decent against the better teams if you take the top 8 teams this is ipswichs record. Bournemouth away = draw Watford away = win Norwich away = lose Middlesbrough away = lose Brentford away = win Wolves away = draw Id say only two losses away to the top 7 teams in the league (excluding Ipswich who finished 6th), is not too bad
 9.
Scum tosser who reads OUR messageboards and then reports back to TWTD that we''re obsessed..Couldn''t make it up.
Its a regular feature it has nothing to do with the fact we''re playing Norwich. Harry was doing this feature for the site when you guys were living it up in the prem. Its just a blog that a lot of TWTD members enjoy reading as part of the build up to the match every week. If you enjoyed it (it is a good read) there will be another next week previewing the 2nd leg. Followed by the wembly preview ;)
 10.
BroadstairsR, I tend to agree, just shows the depth of the squad, one which as you say, should probably already be in the Prem, but sh*t happens and NCFC (any section of it, players, fans, management, etc.) don''t control the world but do control the way they think about it. So as is mentioned in another thread, it is now a mental thing. Im sure Mick knows how to manage a team haha The winners will probably be the team that has the greatest belief they will win, because they both no doubt think they can. It''s about understanding the part the brain (mindset) plays. Hopefully MM is telling his players what he doesn''t want them to do (e.g. don''t let him inside, etc.) and AN is telling ours what he does want them to do (keep him outside) it makes a massive difference to the message the subconscious recives and subsequent physical performance.
11.

I for one cant wait to see the mighty Norwich play at portman road its what you live for as a football fan to see the European elite come to your ground. Sadly it is true with police enforced segregation the capacity is cut to 28500 but they have all been sold. I don''t understand Norwich forums they are so dead, where do you guys talk about upcoming games, when I log on there is about 5 other people viewing and threads very rarely get new comments, Im probably already the most active user. Don''t get me wrong I live on Norfolk Suffolk border and have a lot of Norwich supporting mates, I don''t buy into the whole scum of the earth thing, but like a bit of banter. This forum is dead. WOTB is just odd it seems most posts don''t get follow up comments or people just start a new thread about same subject. The most anticipated thing on WOTB is the competition to post first at midnight when board restarts. It might just be because weve been starved of decent football on the field so have a lot to talk about but TWTD is a very active forum compared to these dead zones, what is happening? So it means we will all be totally spoilt as we sit back and get a footballing lesson from the gods of the championship. At least after norwichs upcoming promotion we can all say I was there when Norwich came to town
What is certain is that you and your mates will swarm all over this board in the unlikely event you should beat us over the two legs....However, it''s more like we won''t see you for a long, long time. [:D]
13.

Not a chance in hell
You are needed back on TWTD, some are so excited that you have sold out for a home game that they are wetting themselves in rapture whilst others are complaining because they will not be two spare seats next to them to put their flask and sandwiches like they usually do.
seriously this is not good news, I normally like to have my flask next to me and put me feet up in front. Hopefully I''ll still be the only one in the bar
 14.
You could upgrade it possibly to an adult ticket ?
its in family area so no chance of upgrade has to be entry with an u16
 15.

However, it is surely because Binner squad is so incredibly poor, shallow and talentless, so youngsters feel they have more chance of breaking in to squads later??That doesn''t seem to have helped Ben Wyatt, who hasn''t featured much with them and was only on a years contract. A quick glance at the u18 squad http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/under -18s-profiles-2012-13-226676.aspxwill show that Klug is talking out of his backside (perhaps that''s the only language they understand in Suffolk) when he claims that They get all their players out of London. Which seems a bit odd as if Ipswich have the pick of all the local lads, then why are so few making it through ? Are they all useless or is the coaching system at Ipswich so inept? And if my memory serves me right did not Ipswich bring in players from Cumbria in the early 70''s.It looks like he is laying the ground for another failure to gain Cat 1 acadamy status, and blaiming it all on how unfair it all is. Something we never heard from them when the 90 min rule blocked our access to lads from London, whereas it didn''t with them. Just another case of the smaller club living in it''s wealthy neighbours shadow, yet again.
Klug has only been back a couple of years and is having to start again pretty much. Already his work is coming good. Teddy Bishop is already in the first team and looks quality easily glides past players and can pick a good pass. Clarke a young centre back is a man mountain and looks very good has been slowly getting more first team games. A young lad Benyu is now breaking into matchday squads and agin is very similar to bishop looks very classy. The real jewell in the crown is Andre Dozzel who every big club will want absolute years ahead of his age group, the only England U16 player not from one of the big clubs and he captains them. Dozzel could well get snapped up by a bigger club but fingers crossed his dads love of Ipswich keeps him here. The future is looking bright
The future isn''t looking bright though, is it?You''ll sell anything worth selling, and the cash will go straight into Evans'' back pocket.
A very good point except the fact its not true! players have to be sold every so often to balance books but it was only last summer Evans stopped the transfer of McG to Leicester and Mings to Palace for 6million and 2 million . It now seems crazy we didn''t take the McG money but Evans didn''t want to sell

 17.
Hope he doesn''t go, love Wessie
I hope Norwich block his move just to see if he throws a tantrum starts calling the club a shithouse again
 18.
If you ever visit Dundee you''ll understand why the poor fecker is spending his life trolling on the internet. Everybody there is a bit loopy to say the least.
Makes me laugh when anyone from Norfolk tries to abuse other peoples locations. Outside of Norfolk the place is a laughing stock for being inbred. I went there once such an odd place never again . Norfolk people are so backwards I felt like I was in a timewarp.
 19. Chances are Norwich will be 13 pts off the top befor they even kick off if Ipswich win the midday game
 20. Good to see young players not being arrogant or up themselves. Hope this lad has a good future
 21. As already mentioned , Ipswich fixture was originally scheduled for the same day as the rest of the division. Mick requested it was changed as there was plenty of room to move it within the permitted window and Charlton agreed. Norwich could have done the same had DJ Neil not thought they would steam roller Reading
 22. Brentford and Ipswich fans might well both be apprehensive about their possible fall from the top. But its crazy that one of them will go top on boxing day as they kick off before Bournemouth. I think its that time of year fans don''t want to get their hopes up but believe me once Feb comes if they are still up there fans will start to believe
 23.
His ability not to save a penalty is quite outstanding. He needs to spend the week practicing constantly. I have absolutely no expectation when a striker takes a run up to the spot kick that he will save it. Time to give Mark Bunn a run in the team
Goalkeepers are not expected to save penalties its a bonus if they do, jesus why do so many thickos support my club
