1.

David Kelly - there has been no proof of any of the claimsas to corruption might I add Prince Andrew
No proof, but denied an inquest and allowed a cover-up of state secrecy that lasts for 70 years.  No proof needed as it stinks.
as usual the nutjobs back down from their silly claims once challengedso it wasn''t "the state murder of Dr David Kelly" as you first claimed in fact as you admit there was ''no proof''he was NOt denied an inquest either - in fact there was a public enquiry which over road any inquest and the post mortem report was made public.the enquiry was led by Lord Hutton and  "the evidence that was ordered to be held back for 70 years "Hutton claimed that he had done so to protect Kelly''s wife and daughters from the distress of further media reports about the death, saying: "My request was not a concealment of evidence because every matter of relevance had been examined or was available for examination during the public inquiry. There was no secrecy surrounding the postmortem report because it had always been available for examination and questioning by counsel representing the interested parties during the inquiry."''The Oxfordshire coroner, Nicholas Gardiner, considered the issue again in March 2004. After reviewing evidence not presented to the Hutton Inquiry, Gardiner decided there was no need for further investigation.''so yet again a rightwing nut job sees no problem in peddling misinformationquelle surprise !
You said there was no proof to any of the claims about Kelly''s death, then you label one side''s claims as misinformation. That''s a rather strange turn of logic, even by your own standards.
2. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is a politically correct marriage, designed so that the British Establishment can claim that the country is no longer racist. It''s good PR.Harry had the pick of all the African and Caribbean girls in London. He would have been married years ago if he eg took a taxi to Ladbroke Grove or a tube to Brixton. This didn''t happen because the establishment needed to pick the ''right kind'' of black girl for him, one who ''fitted in'' with their designs.Harry ended up with a hoity-toity actress who is dripping with political correctness, instead of one of those nice black girls who you see working in London''s many hair salons and nail bars.
3.
I''d agree about the amount of matches, but not the large chunk of money. Going to three or four home games a season and occasional away matches for a long distance fan is very expensive, well over £1000 for me.

You clearly need to stay in cheaper hotels!
Yes, an internet search of hotels is essential. In addition, I would try and fly from Manchester to London, and then get either a coach or train from there.A quick glance shows flights starting at £60 return for two people from Manchester to Southend. A return train to Norwich from Southend Airport is around £40 for two.The above probably beats a 100% rail journey on price, and perhaps is a bit quicker too.Take one hand luggage sized holdall/rucksack each and use a laundrette or bathroom sink + travel clothes line if necessary, otherwise your journey will be more difficult.
4.
However as Len rightly says this is not the time or place for churlish if not childish behaviour.
I didn''t say anything. Stop lying!
5. A True Grit review of garden furniture is desperately overdue. I was also hoping for tips on buying a lawnmower and barbecue.
6. As has already been mentioned, we''ve turned down good money in the past only to see a player''s value diminish due to injury, especially one who carries the team at a time when money is tight and investment is needed elsewhere. This is one reason why I''d tend to want to sell slightly early, albeit with a hefty sell-on clause.Saying all that, it''s bad luck and we''ve not exactly held on say two seasons too long and hence increased the risk of injury beyond an acceptable level. Let''s hope that Maddison''s injury isn''t as bad as is feared.
7. A good player, but Leitner is somewhat injury prone. With our record of signing injury-plagued players, I''d personally prefer someone who is more likely to complete a full season.
8. There will be no sexist remarks from myself at Kathy and Cosmic Twin''s triumphs. The Wonder Woman series in the 70s for me was a gamechanger, and now we''ve seen two Wonder Women leap into first place. Well done ladies!
9. Late again, my apologies.Nacional Asuncion to draw with Diaz.Sheffield Wed 2 1 Norwich.Good luck PUPs!
10. Caracas to win against Deportivo La Guaira (5/4)Preston 2 Norwich 1 (15/2)Good luck PUPs!
11. Delia, Webber, Stone and Purple have spoken. I''ve got a feeling that a Mick Dennis encore cannot be too far away.
12.
Broady the most respected fan in the world of business resigned and that was Alan Bowkett. Nobody that i am aware of who is a Norwich City fan comes remotely close.
Bowkett had a reputation in the City as an asset stripper, perhaps very able at things like budgeting, but not the sort of person who had much of a clue on how to build a business organically.Unsurprisingly it was his tenure on the board which helped lead us into today''s tight situation, with little of the PL millions invested in our run down facilities, most of it "p1$$ed up the wall" with no real return on our investment.
13. Society needs a strong moral basis. Young people see the rich stealing from the poor and flaunting their ill-gotten gains, so is it a surprise when they copy this behaviour? The government helped organise the ransacking of Libya in 2011, yet sought to condemn the pillaging behaviour of youngsters during the London riots the following summer.Morality starts at a higher level by the setting of a standard and leading by example.
14.

The days are gone when 1 copper could man The Barclay now at Match Days 4 to 6 police stand at the entrance to Riverside and another dozen outside Wetherspons plus the dozens more round the stadium. Yet as previous poster noted Police Stations closed and phone lines a waste of time due to cut back in budgets
Those that you see are Special Constables who these days wear helmets except for a small handful.
And Special Constables work for free (except for some expenses).
15. I''m not sure if JW meant an opposition goal scored at one of Sunderland''s away games, or got the games mixed up, but Gordon and Sherwood both scored at Carrow Road versus Sunderland in the season in question - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn29KTAOmUA.
16. Rushall Olympic to beat Shaw Lane (6/5)Rushall have played three times since March 17th, while Shaw Lane have played seven times. I expect Shaw Lane to be playing with some tired legs.Norwich 1-2 Aston Villa (9/1)Good luck PUPs!
17. So Webber is blunt and is effectively telling fans to be patient because we are changing from the old inconsistent model which never really worked, to a new one of consistency which effectively emulates our successful era of the 80s/early 90s.The response to this and (understandably) bad results from some fans is to call for Webber and Farke to leave, hire Warnock or some other old has-been to play a turgid direct game, and presumably repeat the last 20+ years of underperformance.I can understand frustration with Farke''s style, and skepticism with his level of qualification and experience to do the job. But to advocate repeating the same mistakes of the past makes me wonder if some fans actually understand where we''ve frequently gone wrong under Delia and Wynn-Jones.The ultimate level of stupidity is seen in those who try and tell us that everything went wrong after Bowkett and McNally left, seemingly oblivious to the notion that it was them that left behind a disaster zone for Webber to navigate through!
18.
As I expected Luton won and you got 4/5 today Len. It was a great effort buddy.I don''t think PUPs are overcome by fear Len. Many of them don''t have any interest in odds or betting. And they don''t need to have. Others like to look for what they see is value in their selections. It''s very much each to their own. Don''t forget no money is lost. The money used for the stakes is freely given by the PUPs themselves for that purpose. It is not given to the CSF and neither does it belong to any of us. Nobody loses a penny but our wonderful DS team gain from any returns. The two PUPs leagues help us measure our performance and create healthy competition amongst us. However that''s not their main reason for being. The leagues are primarily there as an extra reference source for the PUP in the hot seat.Through all of this our community has blossomed. In the last 12 months £2634 has been raised. The majority of this doesn''t come from the bets themselves but it all comes because of this community doing what we do.
I agree with a lot of that Nigel. I think the quality of suggestions this week was first rate, so the picker can usually be confident that they stand a good chance. There were a fair few this week which seem to have been the product of quite a bit of research.Quite a few I had run the rule over before Wednesday were posted as suggestions, which leads me to believe that many of the pickers had spent quite a bit of time making their selections.
19. We seemed to have fewer short odds choices this week (under 1/4), but there are already many good value winners from what was posted (even by Thursday evening).Perhaps it''s because I''m used to picking high odds, but I didn''t find it too difficult except when it came to my own pick!I think more PUPs need to pick without being overcome by fear, and try and aim for at least a £50 return.
20. I hope I''m not speaking too soon, but Coventry looked the best pick this week. Seemingly high odds, but as good as something like a 2/5 or 1/2.
21. Oh dear, 2-0 down now. It was always the one that needed the most luck.
22. Opava have just gone a goal up. It''s 0-0 in all the others after 25 mins.
