  1. Jerome biggest failing is that he breathes confidence into poor teams. They realise he’s not gonna hurt them. Much like a slugger entering the ring against a “classy” opponent, the poor sides that we play gradually realise that they have nothing to fear. That’s why we lose against lower teams. That’s why we go behind after dominating early on without scoring. Wake up everybody
  2. Doesn''t take a genius to know what Rotherham''s game-plan would be today. Sending off is totally irrelevant. They were undone before that. The players take no notice of anything that their so-called manager says. And why the hell have we got a first team coach who has achieved nothing his whole football life? Sack the lot of them. Irvine record is worse than Neil''s ffs. Give it to Halajko.
  3. First 6 games, 11 points from 18. Scored 9'' conceded 7. Second 6 games, 15 points from 18. Scored 15, conceded 9. Third 6 games, 1 point from 18. Scored 5, conceded 14. Only come back from being behind once. Drawn after being ahead: 2 games. Lost after being ahead: 2 games. 10 points dropped from winning positions. Players signed but not rated highly enough for us to use: Canos, Oliviera, Thompson, Pritchard, Maddison, Godfrey, Mulumbu. Players signed, used , but played poorly: Klose, Naismith, Brady Lafferty lovers : he had his chance with a long run when he first arrived and failed miserably, as he did when on loan. Any donkey could score against the level of international opposition that he''s faced.
  4. Spot on. Gary was exactly the type of player we are lacking.
  5. 22 goals conceded in the first 15 Prem last term. 24 conceded in the first 15 this time, after wetting ourselves worrying about whether "King Klose" would stay. Joke. Players have no guts, no bottle. Manager doesn''t know how to turn a game around when it''s not going well. Players bought and not used, or don''t produce what they''re capable of. Soft underbelly for years. Thought Neil would fix that. He hasn''t, he can''t. What''s the answer? Try signing players who aren''t in love with themselves and give the other players a chance. Thompson, Maddison etc. Would we have done any worse if Klose had left and Turner had been a regular? I doubt it. Klose hasn''t looked a player for a few games now. 60% possession today and 2 shots on target. Appalling. The whole lot of them should hang their heads in shame. If I hear "the players will show what they''re made of next time" one more time, I''ll scream.
  6. We''ve now conceded more league goals in the first 15 matches in the championship - with a massive investment - than we did in the first 15 matches in the Premiership last season.
  7. Shefcanary, I would advise you to get however many tickets you can get now, before the 5pm Wednesday deadline. Three reasons: 1) you may not be lucky enough to get through after 6pm Wednesday, 2) any seats left will be right at the back, 3) most importantly, you are probably making a bad assumption in thinking that you will be allowed to buy your regular one plus the extra one per customer number all in one go. As I understand it, you will still only be able to buy one ticket per customer number - not two. Be careful. I wouldn''t want to see you miss out.
  8. Spot on Dave. I have seen some shockingly stupid comments over the last 24 hours. Some "fans" are just plain embarrassing. Moaning before he''s even arrived. What morons. They think they know better than people who make these judgements and decisions for a professional living. What arrogance it think they know better that the people charged with making the call. I hadn''t heard of this guy either, but he seems to be a very impressive character. We''ve all complained of a soft underbelly, lack of passion, lack of fitness even. Our people have been to every single Accies game this season and been very impressed with what Neil has done on a shoestring budget. I''ve read the comments on their own fans forum. To a man, they are gutted to be losing him but not one person has expressed the slightest doubt that he''ll do well. No one of us were particularly enthusiastic about any of the merrygoround managers that were linked with us when Adams quit. The board deserve full credit for having had a plan b in the first place and then the craft to be first to grab this exciting young man. On the ball City! And shut up the negative numpties.
  9. There is something seriously wrong right at the heart if this great club that we all love. Has anybody at the club got enough respect for the fans to level with us and tell us what is wrong? If not, at least throw out the bad apples so we can see who the cheating lowlifes are
  10. Make a sub, concede a goal from the centre of your own box thirty seconds later. Make a second sub - do the same again. Total rubbish, unprofessional, lazy, careless. These tossers masquerading as professional sportsmen are laughing at the fans
  11. Thanks Puppet Out. He was a successful youth coach and former player in his first managerial role. There are plenty of examples of such people who have proven themselves to be good managers in time, if the board have the guts and the fans have the patience.
  12. Charming. Nice to know you can put a sentence together.
  13. "String" should be "strong enough to". Apologies
