  1. i normally watch earnie during games and he is always moving looking for the ball. yes, it is is fault that he is offside, but a player like him needs constant (or atleast 2 or 3 good through-balls) service as the majority of time he will score.
  2. i very much doubt he has been given a new contract to please the fans. no manager would sign a player if they didn''t want him. it was an obvious, but right decision.
  3. i''ll be leaving as soon as the whistle goes. i dont want to be there any longer than i have to.
  4. yep. only 4 teams will be allowed in the champions league. arsenal will get 4th anyway. birmingham or pompey to stay up. will be very tight.
  5. definately sign him, but whether a better team will come in, is the question. he''s a quality player, and im sure others are interested.
  6. its like a joke with no punch line. probably some luton fan dreamed it and thought it would come real.
  7. i saw it and i can understand his frustration. its simply not his fault. i do watch him many times when he has the ball, and he is always looking for the throw. as someone has said, the only person who would not hoof it on again (making the throw pointless) is hucks, and one person to roll out to, which is safri. the defence are to blame for this, but i think it could be a lack of confidence. if they were playing really well, im sure they''d look for the ball. but i sometimes think they are worried if they get it, they will give it away. so they run off, taking the pressure off themselves.
  8. as far as i know, mckenzie was on 6k last year, and i think i read he''s now back down to 3k. so id guess hughes is around 2.5k.
  9. i think he''s right. even if the challenge weren''t strong enough for him to go down, they were fouling him.
  10. totally agree with evil monkey aswell. its a joke. he cant be serious in thinking we''ve still got a chance. if he was sunderland manager he''d still say they could stay up.
  11. agree with alot of the above, but: "joey gudjonsson - wages could be an issue, but a possibility bearing in mind villa''s takeover and new investment in the summer" he''s at leicester, not villa. joint top scorer with 9 goals. if he is on loan to leicester from villa, then i do appologise.
  12. funny moments when they announced that no alcohol was available in barclay and jarrold, then said it was again! also when hucks and drury both took a throw-in at the same time!
  13. not sure to previous seasons, but i would like to see something a bit brighter next season. maybe wiil be easier for the players to pick out a pass...
  14. i wont be fussed if he goes. we''d be in about the same position now with or without him this season imo. i can only see us getting £2m max if he did go. everton or west ham possible destinations?
  15. i think the fact we''ve won once without safri in team in a year answers the question of how important he is to us. (and that was a 90th minute winner!)
  16. i dont think he will ever be a waste of money. he will score goals, but if things dont work out, im sure we''d get back the whole fee in selling him anyway.
  17. leeds 3-0 norwich. 3-0 by half time, dire second half.
  18. i too think the point about how much we have spent is missing. we have spent more in the last 3 seasons on just strikers, than most teams have spent in the last 5-10 years at this level.
  19. it doesn''t matter if they are in a job or not. im sure there would be a hell of a lot of interest from managers who are already employed by a club. i think newell would leave to join us. just because he may be happy, it doesn''t mean he doesn''t have ambition to join a bigger club like norwich.
  20. yeh it is great news. and he wouldn''t have been forced to sign it. he would have been told he''s part of his first team plans and an important part of the squad etc etc
  21. yeh i was thinking this during the game. last win without him was our 3-2 win against wba. and he has missed alot of games since then, so it was an abysmal record really.
  22. im happy we won. im also happy we have players like johansson to come off the bench and get a winner. if we had as much quality in midfield as we did upfront, how knows where we would be.
  23. Leeds Away - Loss Sheff United Home - Draw Burnley Away - Loss Leicester Home - Win Preston Away - Loss Sheff Wed Away - Win QPR Home - Win Cardiff Away - Loss Wolves Home - Draw my prediction is another 11 points. i''d say that would be about 10th or 11th place.
