1. i really dont know. for me, he werent great against luton, giving the ball away one too many times, but still a big improvement on last season. i am certainly happy for him to be in the team, and remain in the team as long as his performances do not decline.
2. well its most likely not only you who didnt know that. i only found out after he had been called up as the info was put up on the offy site.
3. haha very true. like i said mine is by no means perfect, and the occasional one slips in now and again. btw i knew someone would pick up on a mistake lol
4. agreed. but, just heard he got injured this morning and may miss the game! gone off to hospital for a scan on his ankle. would have started aswell...
5. have to agree with the general opinion on here. txt talk is fine for texts, msn, emails to mates or wotever, but like previously said, its not any harder to type proper english while using a keyboard. and i also agree it does make it harder for people to read the post, even though i managed to get through it. i know my grammar is not perfect, but i do try.
6. completely unrelated. its rejected because he is our 2nd striker and would leave us short of cover.
7. fryatt is by no means a target man imo, he''s very lean, but is tall (well looks it anyway, dont know his exact height.) kuqi aswell for me, certainly wont be a regular, and might just fancy a move. more importantly, blackburn wont be demanding stupid money for him.
8. im in the river end, and would love to sing and shout, but its so hard when sitting down and majority people are young or elderly. the only reason i havent moved to the barclay, is because we shoot our way in the second half, which does result in more goals. so i''ll be going to as many away games as possible to join in with the singing!
9. definately gallacher. i think green peaked with us at the end of the championship winning season. things need to be freshened up and green has gone a bit stale with us. its best for all parties if he moves on. but whether anyone will actually put in a bid is another question!
10. rooney is a great example of this. you dont have to be skinny to play football. as far as im concerned only good things should be said about himself as a player, and also getting him here, becuase i for once agree with worthy and say he could well be a very good bargain.
11. the only norwich player id have in is earnshaw. i think most of the best 11 are made up of west brom and birmingham players.
12. well i know with ladbrokes, we are 11/4 to get promoted (so dont have to be just winning league) but they aint got top scorer in champ up yet i dont think.
13. i wouldnt read anything into that. i always used to see players have tops with different numbers on in pics, and that was during the season, so no problem there.
14. blackburn have lost dickov and bellamy, plus jansen who i dont think was replaced. so i dont think them signing 2 players is the end of the rumours just yet. especially as neither player is in the bellamy mould. even so i still dont think he''ll be leaving this summer.
15. johansson was certainly far from rubbish! from the little amount of time he played, i think the majority of people saw he was techniqually better than most of our team. but when he''s put on the right side in a 4-4-2 he aint going to be effective! it was a shame JJ/Earnie partnership werent given a try more often.
16. we were linked with him before the prem season i think, and i was disappointed we didnt get him. good player who is capable to be playing regularly in the prem.
17. i think this is a great last game. havent been to this ground yet, so would be great going there with something to celebrate! (please!!) what an atmosphere that would be!
18. i was very impressed. gets forward, and has got a massive throw aswell. would be a great signing if he came here.
19. earnie aint overrated. his goals could get us promoted next season. he is a better finisher than ashton. but i think the majority know and realise, that ashton is a better player to have, and has lots of potential to be a great player. but to say he''s world class is way off the mark. henry is world class, shevchenko is world class, ashton is only premiership class, and i believe earnshaw is in this category aswell.
20. i think he''s already at wigan. lol but yeh, chances are he will be back in the champ next season, but i think would be a good signing for any of the promoted teams.
21. well if we lost 3-0, i dont think he''d have said what dowie said. something on the lines of, ''im responsible for this team, and this defeat comes down to me, no-one else.''
22.
Its easy to blame a player not at the club anymore isnt it Neil..... I see your favorite example club West Ham still managed to make the play-offs despite the loss of Jermaine Jenas and David James in January of their first season down.....
jenas? you mean carrick?
23. looking back at the situation, i think the right thing was done by selling in january. fans would have been outraged by selling, especially if he didn''t mind staying to see how the season progressed. and eventually we''ve recieved a higher fee, and we now have an even more natural goalscorer than we did before.
