Thanks for all the suggestions so far. There are some really good ones in there and I’m impressed by the depth of football knowledge on offer. I’m heading out for a bit so won’t be doing the final picks until last thing tonight. I’ve got a few in mind already but there’s definitely some up for grabs, so keep your picks coming!

Hello. It’s a real honour and privilege to make the picks this week and I can see some interesting suggestions already. Keep them coming as I’ll need all the help I can get and I’d dearly like to add some money to the kitty. I’ll probably make the final picks late on Friday so there’s plenty of time for you to come up with some crackers. Good luck everyone!

Hello everyone, isn’t it great to be making our picks again! I’m not bringing much science to this to be honest, but I think ACCRINGTON STANLEY will continue in their winning ways at home to Gillingham. For our game I feel very positive so 2-0 and a great win for us on the opening day. Good luck everyone!

Hi Nutty, It’s been a long hot summer, and I’ve really enjoyed the World Cup, some cricket and now the Tour de France. But I’ve really missed the PUPs challenge every weekend and it will be really great to back to it, and a real honour to pick the six on the 18th Aug. I’ve sent you a tenner by PayPal to get things going (its the one from Anthony F. in case you’re wondering?!?) and just hope my luck turns a bit so I can add something to the pot.

Apologies for being late this week. If I had been on time I’d have gone for a Liverpool home win and in our game for Maddison to score the first goal. Good luck pickers; those picks look like winners to me!

Kathy, Ha, yes! Between my typing and the predictive text it could easily have turned out badly!?!

Good morning everyone. I had a good look through last night and found quite a few slightly risky bets that I fancied, but I’m not brave enough to go with one of those so I’ve plumped for a slightly safer one - Home win ARSENAL v Southampton. I think our poor run is going to end against Villa, so I have selected a home win which is currently 2-1 on Bet365. Good luck everyone and especially to our two aliterative ladies with their final selections!
-
Tough luck GD, they looked like good selections to me. Nutty just beat me to it, but I think we will draw tomorrow and BTTS (although I’m hoping for better!).

Apologies, I’m running late this week! I’m going for a slightly uninspired victory for MAN UTD v Swansea. I know Fulham have been going well, but I think 12/5 for a Norwich win is a good price and it’s definitely time for us to come out on the right side of one of our matches with them!! Good luck pickers and I hope everyone enjoys the Easter break.

Hello everyone. I’m glad everyone else is finding this week tricky as it feels really tough to me. My best friend is a Grimsby Town fan and he’s in the depths of despair, as they have terrible form and a new, but fairly inexperienced manager. A return to the National League is looking very likely. So, I agree with gingerpele and think Coventry will be too much for them. Home win COVENTRY CITY v Grimsby Town. Best of luck Len!

Great stuff from Wazzy - hoping we can add a bit more to the pot. I fancy Forest might grab a goal, so how about Norwich to win and BTTS. Good luck Platonic!

Hello everyone. Assuming all the snow goes I’m also going for Liverpool to beat Newcastle. For the match bet I think we will return to winning ways with a 0-2 victory. Good luck everyone!

Hello everyone. I’m still reeling from the excitement of all these last minute goals so I’m hoping my picks aren’t too giddy! I am heading to Portugal, where in a challenge to my spelling, I predict that Paços de Ferreira will be overcome by BENFICA for an away win. Bolton haven’t scored away in the Championship this year (I think) so controversially I think they may pinch one, but the mighty yellows have been good at overcoming adversity recently, which all adds up to a Norwich victory with both teams to score. Good luck with the picks and good luck City!

I missed last week but hope to get back on track with a trip to Italy where I fancy a home win for top of the table NAPOLI v Spal. It’s a big weekend and I keep thinking about Leon Mckenzie’s brace at Portman Rd back in 2002 and think maybe Nelson might do something similar at Carrow Rd to immortalise himself. I strongly fancy a 2-0 victory with Nelson to score anytime. Best of luck everyone!

I didn’t know Michelle but like many others on here will have shared moments of great happiness and despair over those 900+ games. It wonderful to have shared that connection and to see it continuing in the kind words and thoughts of her fellow fans and pups. I’m sure that it brings great comfort to those that she loved in their time of loss. RIP ChelleCity. A Norwich City victory seems very much in order this week. We seem to be keeping things tight so I will go for a 1-0 victory. My evening meals this week have have been dominated by pasta and pizza so it has to be Italian for me and the top v bottom clash of Benevento v NAPOLI where I predict an away win for Napoli. Napoli have won their last 5 so I’m hoping this won’t be a Benevento shaped banana skin! Very best of luck to everyone and especially the pickers! -
Good evening to you all. The previous round of the FA Cup was a nightmare so I am heading over to Spain where I predict a home win for ATHLETICO MADRID v Las Palmas. I’m hoping we will keep it tight and grind out another narrow 1-0 victory at Brentford. Good luck Hoola Han Solo and Woostercanary!

I am away this weekend so getting my suggestions in early. I think an in form FULHAM will be too strong for Burton. I am genuinely not sure how we will get on against Sheffield United and a lot depends on how today’s game goes. I am going to hedge my bets with a 1-1. Fingers crossed that we have another good weekend - good luck pickers!

Tricky week, but I’m going for a home win for MAN U v Derby in the cup. For the match bet I am going to let my heart rule my head and go for a 1-0 win for City. Two reasons, I think we’re owed a bit of luck after almost beating Arsenal in the league cup and Chelsea have been a bit unreliable away from home, so fingers crossed! Good luck with the picks!
Hansterbuuble, FYI, this match is being played this afternoon so is ineligible.
Thanks Yankee, I’d completely missed that. Instead I’ll go for a NEWCASTLE victory as I think they will be too good for Luton.
