1. What about louis Thompson? looked to me like a decent box to box, all energy midfielder. I''m sure him and dorrans/mulumbu could work in 4-4-2 I agree howson is the perfect player for it but don''t think he''s the be all and end all. If we do play 4-2-3-1 again i want Pritchard in the number 10 role. Build around him.
2. Stats or no stats. The player''s don''t appear to be happy under AN
3. If last night''s shenanigans hasn''t confirmed the shambles going on inside the club right now, nothing will. Player''s openly mocking the manager on social media Beyond belief tbh
4. If AN was to accept a DOF right now then he will be onto a hiding to nothing. If fortunes turn around it will down to the DOF and not him (people will say).
5.
Sure, new goalie wants a slice of the action. And not saying Rudd is all the answer but rate him above Mc govern and think John''s time is more behind him unfortunately. But then chemical bro, I would be giving more younger players games. Easy being an armchair manager!
Take a breath sonyc.
6. "with our best goalie in team" Wasn''t in Charlton''s squad last night but nevermind ey
7. There will always be a large section of supporters against Alex Neil from here on in. There was a section against him coming into this season. As a result it''s probably best for both parties to move on. Otherwise we will have this situation later on in season at a much more crucial time. In summary i feel the writings been on the wall since end of last season.
8. Keeping a manager long term is the way forward ldc, that i agree with. Hopefully the next manager will be that one. However when the manager loses the players like in this case it''s good night and god bless.
9. I''m with you jim Smith, i don''t understand the hostility towards Hodgson. I think too many are holding the England job against him which is one of the toughest in world football. People need to realise we are norwich city, a modest team with little ambition playing in the championship. I think he''d be a bit of coup tbh. To steady the ship until the end of season i would have no complaints. Not my first choice. Just saying i don''t see the problem. Gary Rowett for me is a standout applicant but would be tricky to prise him away right now. Not impossible.
10. Exactly that. They''re not playing for him anymore. It''s sad to watch and should never happen at professional level but fact is we all know it does. The annoying thing is it seems we''re now going to waste another week/fixture/3 points just to confirm something we should all be seeing by now.
11. Our performances were not great even with Howson and Pinto in the side. Yes we were winning just about but mainly against the bottom sides.
12. Hodgson till the end of the season wouldn''t be the worst appointment at all. If he gets us up the job is his. If it doesn''t happen it gives the club time to take stock and make the right appointment.
13. So let me get this straight..... Because some people on here deem there not be an obvious replacement right now, we should carry on with AN? Instead we should carry on watching awful performances and now piss poor results, fading further and further away from automatic promotion certainly and won''t be long before play offs out of reach. Yea this makes sense When this job becomes available there will be managers up and down the country taking a serious glance towards Carrow rd. Including many currently in jobs in this division.
14. I''m worried the club will give it to Alan Irvine. Probably use him as caretaker manager if AN is sacked. Wouldn''t mind Hodgson till the end of season, if he gets us up the job would obviously be his. If it''s not looking likely gives us time to make a good appointment. Gary Rowett for me looks a good long term option. Not keen on Michael O''Neil at all.
15. Would probably go with this (based on who''s fit/form) Ruddy Whittaker, klose, bassong, olsson Thompson, dorrans Murphy, Pritchard, Brady Jerome Subs: jones, bennet, Martin, Tettey, Murphy, hoolahan, lafferty
16. You look a bit a silly when you go out and sign a gk (who happens to be ya matey) to replace the one you have but he turns out to be even worse. Don''t ya think?
17. I would say from what I''ve seen of bravo he''s in worse form.
18. Hmmm Tbh i do think it goes on tho morty. Look at the Manchester city situation with joe hart and claudio bravo.... Is bravo really better than hart? Or is it a case of Pep simply not liking joe for one reason or another, and being buddies with Bravo? He apparently had better distribution than Hart but seeing Bravo this season looks to me like a proper pals act going on. Not saying this is happening here but for sure definitely goes on in the game.
19. Absolutely........... Not! 😀 Not a bad manager at the right club clearly. We went from the most attacking manager to the most defensive at the time. That was our problem. Ended up neither here nor there. Nice bloke tho
20. That i hope is true. In all seriousness with or without injury to McGovern I''m fully expecting a big JR recall at QPR. Hope he does himself justice and gets a run between the sticks. JR back to his best would major boost to us.
21. Either ruddy hasn''t been producing in training or AN is too stubborn..... Hmmm i wonder
22. No matter what formation we play if the players aren''t prepared to run through brick walls for the manager it''s unlikely to make a difference. At the minute our players don''t look like they would run through cotton wool for him.
