  1. Rick puts our headlines on his site as a feed, but these link back to us and take people to the Pink un site, so I''d prefer it if people put a link to the story rather than quoting the whole thing - that way Rick gets traffic to his site. However I''m fairly relaxed on the forums - and it is a plug for Rick, as the site is mentioned - in fact I''ll give the URL - http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/index.asp. We had some of the Grant quotes last night, but not the full version. Obviously we wouldn''t try and pass one of his stories off as ours on the actual news section, although if he had an exclusive, we might follow it up and quote his site - in the same way newspapers say  - according to the BBC, the Sun, - or whatever. In the past various sites have taken Pink Un stories and tried to make them look as though they are their own, or used them in full as a news section, with just a note on the bottom - but as I say sites can now take an RSS feed from the Pink so they can get best of both worlds. Celia
  2. Report from David Cuffley with Peter Grant comments on Pinkun home page now celia
  3. Mini-mini-match report online now (pinkun home page) as David Cuffley gallops from stadium to train to plane... comments from Grant and the Hunter story may follow if the phones work... Celia
  4. No idea - anyone? David Cuffley is over there for Evening News, EDP and Pink, and all being well he''ll phone me after the match with a report - but it will be brief! Celia
  5. Who would get your vote as the ultimate Norwich City football legend? As part of its centenary year, the Professional Footballers Association is putting together a list of 100 top players who have played professional football over the last 100 years – with a different player to be selected from 100 professional clubs to have competed in the Football League. Through the Evening News website, you can vote for the man who will represent the Canaries in the PFA Centenary Hall of Fame. The Norwich City nominees comprise the four top appearance makers and four top goalscorers in club history, plus two more outstanding candidates, one from the 70s and one from today’s side. The four men who played most games for City were Kevin Keelan, Ron Ashman, Dave Stringer and Bryan Gunn. Top of the goal charts were Johnny Gavin, Terry Allcock, Iwan Roberts and Robert Fleck. Former City captain and World Cup winner Martin Peters and double player of the season Darren Huckerby complete the lost of 10. To cast your vote, log on  to www.eveningnews24.co.uk and look down the home page. The poll runs until Monday, July 23..
  6. Got the final result, which you know -  had a rushed call from Chris Lakey at Exeter who is trying to inteview players - nothing much to add but i''ll put a comment from Grant into the story.
  7. Brief match report on the Pinkun home page - more to follow after the game. Celia
  8. Although having said no panotmimes, it does occur to me that there is immense possibility for a Norwich City panto/pantos - who would play what role? Could we blend Aladdin with Mother Goose - and who would be Mother Goose? Titter ye not. I''ve had a lovely weekend, and I''m about to sign off - but enjoy. Celia
  9. A knighthood? Thank you kind sir. Although given my age and sex it may have to be a dame... dameship? And there''s nothing like one. And no mention of pantomimes, please... Celia
  10. You probably referred to crooks, liars, fools, idiots,... whatever.
  11. Thank you for that, AJ - but I will take some time off - there are four on the web team who share weekend and night working on shifts - although Vince and Pete sometimes moderate far longer then they should! Anyway - I took time off yesterday evening to watch Saints on TV (the real Saints, not Southampton) beat Huddersfield and go top of the Super League, so I''m fairly happy... Celia
  12. Nope - I can move a post from one section to another - ie from Norwich City to It''s not just football, but not thread to thread within one section. Possibly the elastic band would snap. Celia
  13. I''m sure Pete would have it much more under control, but he''s on his hols ... Pot of yellow paint?
  14. On multiple threads - if I left the message board for what seemed like 10 minutes yesterday evening, I came back to masses of new posts, which is great - but a lot of them said the same thing because they were all awaiting moderation. So I tend to bung them all up - I suppose I could pick the first and delete the others? Although that seems a bit unfair when people are trying to be helpful and pass on their new info. Celia
  15. I''m afraid it''s just me on tonight, so you won''t get much footballing intelligence. I don''t recall hearing he''s officially retired, though. Celia
  16. I''ve deleted so many today that I can''t remember what the particular problem was with this one. Celia
  17. Not a clue, i''m afraid - I''ll get someone to check on Monday. Sorry... Celia
  18. It''s a problem they are trying to solve - it happens to us, too. I thought they''d sorted it yesterday, but obviously not. However with the other server probs we''ve had in the last couple of days, I suspect that has gone down the list of jobs a bit. I''ll remind them. Celia
  19. Frustrating.... I know what you mean. Today the news feeds to the sites weren''t working, the upload of pages wasn''t working, the forums were stuck .... Pigeon post, anyone?
  20. The situation has been particularly bad over the last couple of days when it has been almost impossible to moderate. Celia
