9 pointsAfter a poor first half we found our rhythm second half and started it really well. We got ourselves ahead, looked like we could go on to get a third - and then Wagner, with 70 not even on the clock - decides to protect a one goal lead. It was Southgate-like. With the same inevitable outcome - inviting pressure onto a team who are better going forward than back. Really unclear why Sarge wasn’t replaced with Sydney either - if the former had to come off at that point (which IMO he didn’t). What’s the point in the latter signing if he gets no time in a game like today when we are level. QPR are a poor team and Wagner cost us two points. That may well be very costly end of season.

5 pointsThe subbing of Sargent seemed bizarre, he didn’t appear to be injured or struggling at all. Cost us the points in my opinion

4 pointsPositivity and ruthlessness to Loftus Road today. After a decent win against a determined Coventry we head to the basement where 3rd bottom QPR sit. They are attempting to get some form together with 7 points from 9, but lets not have them continue that, eh. The playoffs start now so tackle, head and knock them out and get the ball to Sargent to work his magic. QPR have brought in 5 players in the transfer window including Issac Hayden and Swiss striker Michael Frey. Frey has a decent record in Belgium, but nothing from a stint in Germany. Of course the QPR boss is hoping the home crowd and our away record will make us susceptible if they have a right go. "We have to make sure we go all in, front foot from the beginning." So lets put the foot on their challenge and win the game in the first half and pile it on in the 2nd. OTBC. 4 pointsI was much happier at full time than I was at half time.
-
4 pointsThe majority of the negative comments are simply borne out of frustration, 2-1 up and in control Wagner completely changes the shape of the side which let QPR back into it.
-
4 pointsWhen we’re leading after 70 minutes away at a bottom 3 side on a wretched run and the head coach makes subs that throw away our advantage and a system that was winning us the game, we lose the initiative and throw away 2 points. If we’d won today we’d be level on points with the top 6. Again, we’ve fallen agonisingly short via a decision from the head coach that is clearly questionable.
-
4 pointsWagner messed up today, no doubt, but we're on good form, didn't get beat and now have two winnable home games. We shouldn't go overboard. Taking Sarge off is kind of understandable with Tuesday in mind but SvH should have came on. Barnes should never lead the line on his own - he hasn't got the legs for it. That needs to never happen again unless we have no option.
-
4 pointsWe've wasted this season keeping that muppet at the helm. We'd be easily top 6 but for the points Wagner's mind-boggling decisions have cost us.

4 pointsHiya @TIL 1010, flags will be back in the Barclay on Tuesday night for the Watford game. I know you've said about helping put them out before, so if that's of interest, just drop us an email alongcomenorwich @ gmail.com (as I really don't check here often) with your full name and we'll add you to the list. People are meeting at 5.30 at the Carrow Road security office.

3 pointsDisappointing to not win but better to look at the positives. We came from a goal down and took a point away from home. I'll take that if offered every time. We go again (as someone used to say)

3 pointsYou clearly didn’t watch it - as Chair ran Sorenson ragged and the loss of Josh up top was evident, with Barnes trying to up the free kick winning and generally looking knackered. We could have course still won it, it was a scrappy affair at both ends. But there’s no doubt that in the immediate 10-15mins after those subs QPR felt able to come onto us more. They scored within that period. Prior to those subs we were all over them and looked set for a third. It’s high time you stopped defending everything Wagner does. Whilst the changes may well have been forced upon him - his decisions of who to replace with were poor today and that cost us.
-
3 pointsWhen we threw two away to gain one. We were in the ascendancy and his subs changed that. It’s right to scrutinise poor decision making.

3 pointsYeah this. I can't think of a time when having Barnes as our only striker has worked. He's not got the legs to do that role, especially when we're trying to defend and he's already played for 65 minutes. Take Sargent off if you have to but no need to change a system that seemed to be working when you've got a straight swap on the bench.
-
3 pointsIf Stacey had been ill leading up to the game then why the hell wasnt Fisher named as a sub? Another strange decision from the Clueless German!

3 pointsWhat’s frustrating though, is it didn’t need to happen to realise this!!
-
3 pointsWagners lost us two points today. On top and just scored.. and he makes us toothless and brings on a midfielder with no pace to play full back against one of the best wingers in the league. I hope he gets questioned on this.. bonkers, 2 points thrown away completely unnecessarily.
-
3 pointsHernandez on but not Sydney!! Wagner trying to lose this
-
3 pointsI understand the logic of taking Sargent off for Tuesday but he did it too early and if you take him off you should bring on SvH so we keep the legs up top. To leave Barnes as your no.9 is asking for trouble. He doesn't run the channels at all and away from home especially that is so vital. Wagner has messed up today, no doubt about it. Unless we get another goal of course.

3 pointsIt's patently clear that Nunez has become crucial to how we've been playing. He had proof of this in the away game v Millwall, yet has repeated the very same **** up. This squad would be top 6 with a coach picking the right lineups.

3 pointsCDM can wait We know it's too late As Jan passes on by Our form slides away But don't look back in hindsight I heard Ben say
-
3 pointsThat thought crossed my mind too BP, then I then I thought, nah, I'd prefer they got a drubbing.
-
3 pointsI’d be happy with another draw, keeps the binners on a poorish run and possibly helps us. We’re not that far behind WBA.
-
3 pointsGreat work @Puntino Disappointing to see a bit of flack go your way about this. The flags look fantastic and some of the displays in 18/19 were incredible and made for some iconic images that season. Never really appreciated the effort required. So kudos for that! Hope you stay motivated and continue to churn out great Norwich City related content, including the podcast which is by far the best Norwich City podcast out there!

2 pointsWhy are we looking at the central defenders? I think stopping the crosses were horrendous, and for the second time this season we concede from giving the opposition a free throw in to a totally unmarked player. Dimi being part of that both times .
-
2 pointsIt's not so much the literal subs I have an issue with, it's the intangibles. We were on top, just gone ahead and had the momentum; going to Barnes lone striker and Lungi in at RB flicked a switch and turned us utterly passive until the equaliser. We had 3 players around the crosser and he had so much time to deliver, case and point. I accept there were reasons that players had to come off, but the way we just ceded the momentum in the game was barmy IMO.
-
2 pointsHad Idah been here there's no question in my mind he would have come on for Sargent. So why not bring on Van Hooijdonk? It seemed the obvious sub to make.
-
2 pointsSurely we should just concentrate on getting the 3 points in the bag today before getting ahead of ourselves. Wrong decision to take him off at all. Those two lost points could be costly
-
2 pointsIt's not who he took off, rather who he brought on. Negative substitutions.
-

-
2 pointsSo van Hooijdonk must wonder why the **** he's come here
-
2 pointsAny half decent manager could get this squad top 6, the reason we won't make it is because we don't have one.
-
2 pointsI fear taking off Sargent may be a mistake.
-
2 pointsSara needs resting. He's looked leggy for weeks.
-
2 pointsThis referee is awful. Shame after we've had a couple of good ones
-
2 pointsPretty sure in all games it's us first, regardless of whether it's home or away. Can't see that we 'won' the xG battle at Leeds, for instance
-
2 pointsGood predictive skills, both. Please let me know the final score, so I can get a bet on.
-
2 pointsI Think Idah could make a good field goal kicker as most of his go over the bar

2 pointsSome of the reports on the story say that he was replaced because of his name while others say it was because the EFL wanted a more experienced referee as it was the first game after the Oystons had lost their court case and had put the club up for sale.

2 pointsI don't bet, and never have, so those brands were totally invisible to me. Given the reporting and evidence of how damaging gambling addiction can be, that photo really shows that the commercial side of football does need a head wobble. The more I look at it the more obscene it becomes. Sorry Daniel, love you.
