12 pointsJust to remind those Bournemouth players and fans, having a man sent off around 1/2 hour does make a huge difference and often sees the better team losing.

8 pointsSooo... Get an early goal, play most of the game with 10 men, lose 3-1. It's happened before you know! Gotta love Karma🙃

4 pointsWhy are we wasting time and valuable TV hours on a Saturday night on the Eurovision Song Contest. We've left the EU. We need a Great British Song Contest hosted by a Great British patriots like Laurence Fox and Stanley Johnson. Instead we're going to have to suffer the humiliation of Europe ganging up on us 'cos we had the courage to leave their corrupt organisation. The EUSSR can stick their stupid 'bing bong' songs, I'll be listening to Chas and Dave singing about trips to Margate and The Singing Postman reminiscing about his little Miss from Diss. Let's not forget that the best Eurovision winner ever was a celebration of Wellingtons victory over Napolean, they should've ended it there.

3 pointsWhile on the play-offs, the League One final will be between Blackpool, who have suffered ownership so appalling it beggars belief, and Lincoln City, who were playing non-League football only a few seasons ago. One of those teams will be in the Championship next season. That is cause for celebration and a belief in renewal and recovery.

3 pointsThe difference is that Bournemouth actually are a League One/Two club when you look past their playing squad. I don't think they invested a penny into their stadium or training ground during their five years in the Premier League. The training facilities haven't really been improved since they were in League One and their ground holds about 13,000, which is League Two standard. They instead spent all their money on players and were actually spending more than 100% of their turnover on wages in their final season, and their rise was basically a result of a rich owner prepared to put money in and a coach who did a very good job with the budget given to him. There's a bit of a lesson here for other clubs. At least we invested in our training ground last time we went up and have improved the club's chances of success in the future, and should really use some of our Premier League money on infrastructure (new City stand?) this time too. I'm confident in our current ownership to do the sensible thing rather spend all available cash on the playing squad alone, because all clubs bar the top eight or nine will end up getting relegated sooner or later and the ones who invest in things other than the playing squad will at least have something to show for it and not end up back at square one.

3 pointsBegovic can be the "best" keeper in the Championship next season too 👍

2 pointsI don’t think he was particular great by any stretch, but he does deserve credit for being one of the only players who was still getting stuck in and still trying his upmost in those final 10 games. He was definitely our most dangerous outlet going forwards too during that period. Yes it didn’t lead to goals but damn we were so poor he did well with what rubbish he was served up with. I’d have expected him to have done well for us in the champs again this season, indeed at least as good as the last one where he got something like 8 goals and 9 assists. I don’t expect we will see too much of him next year however, think he will find himself behind Buendia, Cantwell, Dowell and another signing or maybe even Rupp for the wide spots. Don’t think we’ll see much of Placheta either but have to say I’d prefer Onel as the ‘kitchen sink’ type super sub over Placheta based on what I’ve seen this season. Surprised that Onel has found himself behind Placheta for much of it.

2 pointsHanley's younger, faster and fitter. I love Timm dearly, but we loaned him out this season, he's 33 years old and has been playing in the Swiss league... just cannot for the life of me see how he gets back in the squad. The signing of Gibbo has set the benchmark for the calibre of player we need to compete at PL level. Five years ago Timm was a great signing, but he's never going to be in the squad next season. Even Zimbo's involvement is borderline, and he was our captain last time we were in the Prem before he got injured. We've moved on from Klose.

2 pointsThe system reflects the players Farke has, the rise of Cantwell changed the system. Before he forced his way into the team Fakre did want a winger on one side. I don’t agree with others that say Onel performed well in the Premier last time. Yes he has the ability to get past a defender but he pretty much always did nothing once he’d accomplished that. I think he can get away with the lack of vision in the Championship, but not in the Prem where he regularly gave the ball away or took shoots from ridiculous positions. He seems a prime candidate for an upgrade this summer.
-
2 pointsExactly. I dont think Holt was unpopular in our dressing room but he could be a nasty ****er on the pitch.
-
2 pointsI know he’s injury prone but just like Byram when he’s on the pitch he’s actually quite good. If no other club makes an offer for him I think we’ll keep him as a backup CB for next season

2 pointsI have to say these Play-Offs are a great idea...if you are not in them😇 Great entertainment today so far.

2 pointsBournemouth manager Jonathan Woodgate was not happy with the performance of the referee as his side were beaten 3-2 on aggregate by Brentford in their Championship play-off semi-final tie. The Cherries led 2-0 on aggregate when Jarred Gillett awarded a penalty for a handball against defender Lloyd Kelly. "Losing is the worst feeling in the world. It is difficult to talk after a defeat of that magnitude," Woodgate told BBC Radio Solent. "The decision the referee gives early on with the penalty, it is an incredible decision. It comes off Lloyd's leg and hits his arm. "I couldn't understand some of the decisions the referee was making. The crowd and their manager were getting in his head. "We had a man sent off and that was a game-changer. It was difficult because Brentford have got good players and they kept on knocking at the door." 🙂
-
2 pointsThat’s Woodgates inexperience combined with his ego. I’m sure he encourages all that winding up of the opposition, “it’s part of the game” rubbish.
-
2 pointsOf course its good news. But it just means that with the lifting of restrictions, the economy is clawing its way back to normality, it doesn't mean the boom has anything to do with the Government or Brexit. Its just a natural occurrence.

1 pointSunderland are still a big side even in league 1, so another obstacle for the binners to overcome next year.

1 pointI want to say no, but actually I will happily defer to whatever the club decide. We’ve had a few second or even third choice strikers who in retrospect we’ve thought could have done a job, when we need an extra man up front. IMHO it’s too early to write Jordan off as we have little evidence of how he can play in Farke’s team. As AJ said, he’s not had a run of games and we have seen time and time again what a difference that makes. Exhibit A - Grant Hanley, runner up player of the season.
-
1 pointThe most influential player I have ever seen play for us was Martin O'Neill. When he played he raised the team to another level. However Emi is the most talented player I have ever seen in a City shirt. Never seen anyone else do some of the things he does with the ball at his feet.

1 pointI'm quite a fan of the scaled back version on the third kit this year, they've had similar things on clothes in the shop etc too. I wouldn't be averse to having that on the kits and retaining the current badge as the 'club' badge.

1 pointI'm thinking more of a back up Number 10. But anywhere in the three I think he'd excel, given the others players he'd be integrating with. I think there's a lot of short sightedness here. I bet Buendia and Cantwell would equally struggle in the current Huddersfield Town set up. I could be wrong, if the fire is out, then obviously avoid. But could be a shrewd move for not a lot of money. Intelligent players designed for the Farke system cost a lot and are few and far between! I do agree it's unlikely.. But Pritchard is not the dud people are making out.
