Not signing it, I hate Ipswich and couldn't care less whether TWTD dies and Phil Ham has to get a proper job. Your fans fully deserve your current misery after you started getting ideas above your station and forced Mick McCarthy out in favour of bringing in somebody tasked with playing like Barcelona on a Barnsley budget. You've sat and watched for years as Marcus Evans cripples you with debt and allows Portman Road to crumble. Weak, limp, pathetic fans. Remember when we forced Robert Chase out? Weekly protests bordering on riots and eventually a brick through the window of a restaurant aimed at his head is what it took. Still you have people on TWTD defending Evans, and still I chuckle at your stupidity. I'm half way through my life and yet don't think we'll ever meet you in the league again, there's no point in considering you rivals anymore. Southend, Cambridge, Colchester, that's who you share a lane with now. Oh, what was it... "mind the gap" that your fans said, when we were temporarily a league below you. More like "mind the valley" now isn't it. Remember all the chants about how rich you were? You meant how in debt you were didn't you? Remember the countdown to Norwich relegation clock prior to us going down to League One? We love seeing you stuck there, and if Lambert is helping that happen then good on him. Of course, he's always been a mercenary so if you throw a five year contract at him he's going to try all he can to get the sack for the giant lump sum, alienating the fans a great leap towards that. Suspect he sees this as his last big payday before retiring. Ipswich on here calling in the favours? Give me a break, will take more than a trivial issue like this to dirty myself in such a way. I donated to several phoenix clubs over the years, Ipswich won't get a penny from me when your club reaches its inevitable financial ruin and your ground gets sold to Persimmon, I'll drive down to Portman Road to laugh at Ipswich fans crying outside the ground. I hope somebody thinks to pay the St Johns Ambulance this time. But thanks for popping by.

This sort of attitude I find bizarre. The club offered us the chance of a refund or to carry it forward for next year. You are now paying for next year's season ticket. It was plainly spelt out in communications and letters from the club. These tickets have nothing to do with next year's season ticket. Treat them like cup games. Don't blame the club because you couldn't be arsed to read the letters they sent out.

Here we go again. Moan Moan Moan. It’s not as if we’re top of the league or anything. Season ticket holders are getting full access next season plus free Ifollow this. Do you really think it’s unreasonable to charge for the games we can actually get a ticket for you. Guarantee the moaners are the same people who will be pleading for the club to buy in January.

I mean, to be fair, you are an Ipswich fan freely posting on the main Norwich forum, asking us to sign a petition in support of a man who doesn't let Norwich fans post on the main Ipswich forum. See how that looks?

I’m just glad the Reeve twins didn’t get the exclusive.

Bit unfair to call McCarthy a failure I would say - he got that shower into the play-offs for goodness sake.
  7. 3 points
Wow. Certainly hit a winning streak, for the first time in years!!! I actually did the stadium tour late last year so, to follow @TIL 1010 last month, I'd also like to donate these tickets to our friends at the CSF. I hope that'll be acceptable.

Seems fair to me. A lot of extra costs relative to the amount of people going. If you are lucky enough to be among the 2000 that get to go, you are getting a treat that many people will not likely get this season - the chance to support your team in the moment. Seems worth £30 to me.

Thanks for this Ron. I've watched the last 20 minutes or so for now and will give the rest a good listen tomorrow. It just strikes me how different he is to many of our managers before. There is such warmth in him as well as passion, through the way he speaks. One of my all time favourites because he understands and loves Norwich City. So lucky to have him as the boss.

I'd rather just put Rupp at right back than change the whole shape of the team and go 3 centre backs

Seems an extremely fair deal to me, how anyone can even remotely complain about getting what they paid for albeit next season maybe even in the PL, plus all home games for free this season is absolutely beyond me! By the same token, maybe all of the NCFC supporters around the world who are paying £10 on iFollow for literally every single game home and away this season will get discounted and priority offer of tickets for next season as a little thanks for their support too 😉. The club have been really generous, be grateful.

I just hope we don't go with all 3 CBs, in both games v Stoke and Coventry as soon as we did that we defensively went to pot, with none of the CBs seeming to know who they should be picking up.
  13. 3 points
You're getting home games free on ifollow and the money you are paying this year covers next season. If you don't appreciate that you can of course have your money back.
  14. 3 points
That's not really how it works. You need to look at 'burden of proof'. The person who makes a claim has the responsibility to substantiate it. We know that a significant proportion of the current injuries were in-game injuries and international duty injuries. We also know that there is a heavily congested fixture list this season. We also don't know how training is precisely conducted at Colney. The one thing to say is that you can't have a superbly coached and peak fitness squad without training hard. You may have to accept that doing so increases the risk of injuries, but the benefit is the well drilled patterns of play and fitness that put us head and shoulders above most of this division. You can't have one without the other.

@TeemuVanBasten Brilliant post. Sums it up for me. But I might consider again if this phil bloke reinstates all the pink un posters he's previously banned...

Disagree - Aarons shouldn't have made the challenge, he was never going to get there. He could have just stood the guy up while everyone else got back on position. Poor decision.

Be jais. Such perpetuity of such a small matter. I should have thought that it was obvious to the whole footballing world that ITFC would have had one of the largest wage bills in L.1, without need of being concerned with the exact hierarchical status of this. The real point, I had thought, was concerned with Lambert's failure to make the most of the resources available to him ... and long may it continue.
  18. 2 points
You can't help but laugh. The idiots got what the idiots wanted and now decide they don't want what they wanted.

"Us all"? I think everyone else is happy with "highly probable" as a point of reference, particularly on a football fan's forum. "Us all" suggests that you are one of a number of folk with a similar opinion. In truth I suspect you are in a minority Group of one - which I would imagine you are more than used to . I'll stop now - I was concerned for you embarrassing yourself, but I have to say there is a danger you might drag me down with you. Is it at this point you say that I'm not very bright? We could then all shout "bingo" and move on .
  20. 2 points
You seriously do have far too much time on your hands and are 100% obsessed with ITFC. No other Yellow comes anywhere near your level of hype when it comes to them. Do yourself a favour and give it a rest will you. It's boring.

Best of luck with the Colney centre treatment, they do great work there. They've kept me going for the past eleven years.👍 If you are having Chemo, best wishes.

He is probably more wanted up there than you are around here.

I heard he broke it kicking Donald's fat orange backside out of the Whitehouse.

You're not a season ticket holder this season, though. Nobody is. Instead we now have a stadium with a capacity of 2,000 and a very different pricing model to suit and make it financially viable. You're also, unbelievably, not forced to go.

I do think that banning Phil Ham is bang out of order, but I also find it immensely funny how much ITFC are taking a sh*t with their clothes on in pretty much every conceivable way. Reinstate him and they'll look weak and divided, uphold the ban and they'll look even more ridiculous and petty. Not signing it, and wouldn't dream of asking binners for support if the roles were reversed. Keep up the comedy genius down there, long live King Lambert!

Latest Imperial stats "Coronavirus infections in England fell by almost a third during lockdown, a study has suggested - with the nation’s R rate suggesting the outbreak is receding. One in every 80 people in the nation was carrying the virus on 2 November, before the UK entered its second round of nationwide restrictions, according to the React-1 study from Imperial College Londonand Ipsos Mori. However in its latest round of testing, the study put the figure closer to one in every 100 people – with 0.96 per cent of people believed to be infected, a decline of 30 per cent in the space of a fortnight. The study sees the university partner with the polling firm to test 105,000 volunteers, whether or not they have displayed symptoms, to offer a snapshot of the population as a whole On a regional level, infections fell by more than a half in the North West and North East, as well as Yorkshire and the Humber."

undoubtedly you will have read this part 'Being in the EU costs money but does it also create trade, jobs and investment that are worth more' Which might be why the countries economists, banks, city traders, CBI, TUC, Police, intelligence services, multi nationals etc etc.... and now even the farmers see the benefits this brings Somehow I trust their judgement over some village idiot who seems unable to form even the most basic sentence - and is motivated by bigotry and racism

Looks like Mr Pfizer is going to be the winner then with the others a close second. Glad to hear from the man himself that he thinks 2021 2nd half will be back to basically normal. It'll be nice to stop treating other people like viruses finally. Perhaps when we see how well these vaccines do, a few antivaxxers might be won around, probably not though! Mr Fauci's latest spiel below. Gives some more detail about how many serious cases there were in the trials. https://mobile.twitter.com/nowthisnews/status/1333146966985908224 Now they just need to hurry up and give that approval!

I once signed up to twtd, made two posts, neither were confrontational and made no indication of who I supported. Another poster then said “ you’re one of them aren’t you ? “ and I was promptly banned. Phil Ham can do one as far as I’m concerned 😁

What a ridiculous post. The only reason you have easy access to the game via I follow is that far from squeezing every possible penny out of the season ticket base, they’ve given it to you as a free bonus with next years season ticket. How on earth do you expect the to generate funds??

What a man. I cannot express how much what he says and his reasoning resonates with me and also how much I want him to stay with us for a (very) long period of time, even if he doesn't get us promoted. He can (and hopefully will) become a legend with us. I want success, but he seems like a thoroughly decent (but still a bit tough) bloke, who gives a sh*t. I want that more than having a few years of success with a mercenary who will jump as soon as they can in charge. My favourite manager or player ever.

Three at the back may be worth looking at but don't change to it with only 10 minutes to go when we're winning! From the start, at half time, when we're coasting or when we're losing and have tried everything else. But please not when we're winning with only 10 minutes to go.

I think what has happened stinks. As a side issue, you have been able to join our site to ask for help. if we were in a similar situation we couldn't even join yours. Over the years we have seen several Ipswich fans come on here and take the proverbial - and I don't really have a problem with that, it's what rival fans do. But how sad is it when you wont allow opposing fans on your site to engage in a bit of banter. Is it because you have now dropped so far that realistically there is no danger of you getting back for absolutely ages?

I'm sure our team of medical experts might be looking into training loads vs injuries. I'd wager they've probably been doing it since they've been here, because thats part of their job. There is of course a chance, maybe even a likelihood that the way we train cuases a few extra injuries. I don't think it's fair to label the entire set of injuries as due to this because many are impact injuries from competitive matches. I also think we only really had injury problems in one position last season and i'm sure the training was similar. There's a bigger chance though that this training has enabled us to win games late on and not tire. It's always going to be risk vs reward to a degree and I'm not sure how anyone can argue with the decision we've made because it not only won us this division not long ago, it's even got us currently sitting top of it.

Okay enough of the fence sitting, why don't you tell us all what you REALLY think TVB?

Hopefully this will work. This is what Mick Dennis posted on fb. Apologies if already posted somewhere

It gives an indication he wants to play though. Which makes it a real shame.
  48. 1 point
Whilst he's probably right that players are playing too much and are being overworked, I have little sympathy. Liverpool are one of the richest, most powerful clubs in world football and as such have more resources to build a squad with strength in depth.
  49. 1 point
The dumb thing is the international friendlies and competitions that have zero merit to them. Having a two week international break and then having to play midweek for 7-8 weeks in a row to catch up.
  50. 1 point
Yep, and this is why despite inevitable bumps in the road the current approach and trajectory is spot on and should be supported. Not just the academy either- the scouting system have come up trumps with inexpensive gems yet again.
