Agree with you about McCarthy, you were never that great to watch under him but he made the unit greater than the sum of its parts. However, because you're an Ipswich fan on a Norwich forum, I'm afraid I have to illustrate your point with the following video:

Thanks NN. I'm absolutely delighted to help the cause and am really (still) gutted about the WBA result. I wanted my name on that board. I should say 4 of the 8 'proposal' picks came from PuPs tips so thanks go to First Wazzock (PSG), Hissing Sid (Arminia Bielefeld), Kathy (Radnicki Nis) and DJ11 (Olympiakos). The others were just obvious bankers so no skill needed there. I can relax now and enjoy the weekend.

They like statues. It helps remind them of when their grandad's were just boys. Perhaps we should ask this bloke....

I know RTB an SC are bit slow and never read the detail but the 'leak' is not from a civil servant but a Cummigs/Govt advisor/associate. Purely logical. It's in the ''Minford' train of thought - why are we doing things uncompetitively that we can 'off-shore' cheaper in a 'global' Britain. Of course the govt. is distancing itself from such thoughts (although it would make the trade negotiations so much easier with the USA and similar ....) - after all it's not what the average Brexiter voted for - or did they ?

It's all about some unelected bureaucrats taking back control from some other unelected bureaucrats so that democracy prevails.

WHO says over 60’s should stay indoors, that’s the main stand empty then

I'd take an FA cup win over staying up any time, I'd be saying the same thing no matter how many points we're sitting on. It would be the greatest moment in our history, I'm more excited by the Spurs game midweek than I am any of our remaining PL fixtures.

Eh? No way. Just no. He may not be a fashionable furrenjur, but I don’t know how many times I’ve walked away from a game and thought ‘well, Pukki will grab the headlines but Kenny was quietly going about being at the heart of absolutely everything’. He’s a very consistent player, the thinking man’s footballer. Offers nothing in attack? He’s one of our best headers of the ball for starters, which tends to be quite helpful at both ends of the pitch (just ask a certain blue team in Manchester). And against Wolves last week, for the first 20mins before the team lost their way, I thought he was our best player, for someone who was playing holding midfielder and ‘offers nothing in attack’ he sure stung Patricio’s hands in that opening period with a fine shot from range. Do not be surprised if he is sought after in the summer window - we’re all talking about the kids going, but there’s one or two others that are flying under the radar too...

One of those images you will always remember is him coming part way onto the pitch when Ips"*** scored their goal on the 89th minute and mouthed "F*** ***" to the away fans. Loved that. Of course Klose had his party piece to come. Pure comedy gold. We got two for the price of one you might say.

Well done to Pockthorpe & Wooster a great haul and a great set of results all round.

Thank you for the advice Pockthorpe - I made sure our Sunday roast was delayed until the Greek results were in. So now I am 'well oiled' and very pleased to have backed up your success on the match bet. Thank you to all those other generous well-wishers, it's been a blast (WBA apart).

Some basic health and safety briefings, advertising, and newspaper articles from the government would be a great idea. Like wash your hands, don't bother with facemarks, and requests to not hoard as it's not helping anyone to do so. - Shutting down the Torygraph propaganda sheet for 6 months would also be a great idea too.

I get a fair amount of banter! Next weekend could be fun. To be fair, because of past connections with Norwich Union / Aviva, there are a lot of us up here.

It Is concerning - especially as he is likely to have weaponised at least one of his shin-pads by filing it down into a sharp point (I believe the term is 'shank'). I was going to suggest metal detectors be installed at the ground and colney, however on reflection this would be futile due to pads being constructed of composite plastic. A more viable option would be x-ray scanning technology - this would also be a good way of checking that the squad are sticking to a professional diet and not lining their stomachs with haribo pre-match.

Given Patel's past history I know which one I would trust and it's not her. As they say "Promoted to the level of maximum incompetence" (or arrogance) would sum her up.

And what about the Canaries official message board?, used to post on there a bit too. Seem to remember it got a bit much on there in the end, and Joe Ferrari shut it down (I think!)
