You just couldn't resist, could you Jim? All you had to do was stop at the end of the first paragraph, but no...

He thinks he's better than he actually is. Bye.

He's never entirely convinced me. I think in games where it's going well (like Newcastle at home this season) he's looked very good doing simple, short passes. But in a tougher, more battling situation he's just looked lightweight and not particularly creative. Coupled with his small stature, he has no pace and offers little goal threat. I'd always rather see Vrancic in the team over him; I haven't yet seen enough of Rupp to see whether he offers more, but at this point I think Leitner isn't really what we need.

Good stuff Flying Dutchman !! I’m having a bit of this ! Ipswich v Posh away win ( what else ) Norwich to win 2-0 .

Right, let's get involved then... Fulham V Huddersfield - Home win For City, Duda anytime goalscorer (brave, but really like what I'm seeing)

For sure, he would have had no time at all for today's little Englanders but then history has never been the Brexiteers' strong point, not even of their own country never mind the rest of the world.

They’ve shown a lot more class than some of our lot.

Reports are he’s signed a pre-contract to move in the summer. Wouldn’t be surprised if Norwich are working on a deal to bring that forward to this window (which is what they did with Sitti), but if they can get agreeable terms they’ll just wait until the summer.

It would be even funnier if we leap frogged them into 17th spot and they went down without us.

It’s hard to say nowadays as you’ve got agents fees, staggered payments etc. And someone (edit: you Thirsty!) made a very fair point above about Cardiff last year - spent β€œmiddle ground” money and have ended up effectively in the worst of both worlds - not staying up and now with some players they probably wish they hadn’t got taking up bigger money than they can afford. I think most teams who come up probably need at least three β€œquality” signings. And I think they’ll probably cost you (headline transfer fee only) maybe 5-10mil each at least. So 20-25 mil. Possibly less if you buy well. Obviously that amount isn’t going to get you Messi, but if you buy well you can probably bring in three players who will improve your first team enough to give you a proper fighting chance. Edit 2: the β€œdecent” (and I was paraphrasing) figure to which Brady might have been referring though I do not know.

They have done brilliantly, but once things go wrong, which they will, they will be left in a mess. It's just a matter of time. Our model is built on stability, consistency and not boom m bust. Slow and steady wins the race

Oh I appreciate them. But to say they are, in your words β€œintelligentο»Ώο»Ώ, ball playing, good passer of the ball at CB.” Is absolute nonsense as per usual, it’s Like saying Darren Huckerby was a great header of the ball

I would also add that the Wolves system has suited him, often with Coady one side of him and Doherty the other. His role is fairly limited.

I agree, I thought at the time 'wtf' !! Hes no world beater but a decent enough top 26 squad player. My Ajax mate was surprised enough to message me about it when it happened. Ryben has done ok too since he left us, though I can understand why wolves would want to move him on as they have loftier ambitions than his ability can deal with.

Someone should make our other centre backs other than Godfrey aware of this

Pre-contracts are binding. I know nothing about this guy apart from watching him play against Sevilla on a ropey stream. Bit of a gamble but a cheap one. I guess many teams have passed on him as trying to work out how good a player in Luxembourg would be in any other league is pretty much impossible. Especially as data drives most transfers now and there will be no baselines to compare him against.

Massively over rated by Pinkun posters for the duration of his time here. He has never been a particular well rounded player... Can't tackle, can't score, lacks core strength, and although capable of dictating tempo (which does require footballing intelligence) he didn't always set the tempo at the right level! All top centre mids can do a bit of everything. Leitner is limited like David Fox. Also a bit sulky and aloof. Although I've enjoyed having him here and was worth the Β£1.5m we paid, enjoyable watching him play the triangles sometimes in the right game. Good luck to the the chap though.

The sales pitch will probably be "We have an excellent 22 year old international left back who is already experienced at a very high level. He will probably leave for a lot of money within two years. When he leaves, you will fill his boots."

Didn't realise there was another Jamali fan in here. Saw him at Notts (Glee club) last year and he had a bizarre show where it was going brilliantly until some guy in the audience, who had tapped him up for advice at the interval, for no clear reason started heckling him mid-set. When Jamali dismissed the heckle and told him he would have a conversation after the show, the guy threatened to slit Jamali's throat several times. Security's response was to have a quiet word, before the guy repeated the death threats a minute later and was escorted out. Truly one of the most bizarre and surreal things I've ever witnessed. Got tickets to see him again in a couple of weeks, Birmingham this time - really looking forward to it.

FFS. You still don't get it? If we're in such a good position to negotiate, then why is it that when we tried to get deals done early with India and Australia, they told us to get ****ed? There is nobody waiting to make brilliant deals with us, they're all waiting until the EU negotiation falls apart when the UK will be utterly economically ****ed and then we'll get some (horrendous) deals.... The USA is doing the same thing. They're waiting to pick at the economic carcass because everybody except you seems to realise how far up **** creek we'll be if we can't get a deal with the EU done... and you're banging on about being in the driving seat? You're utterly delusional. The EU has just struck massive deals with Japan and Canada. I'm sure that they will find it massively difficult to make up a few billion in additional tariffs to the UK given the size of those markets. I bet they're quaking in their boots.

Leaving aside Ipswich as a given, it'd be Liverpool, Leeds and I find Chelsea quite unlikeable. Wolves were a close 4th for the Muscat years, but my dislike for them is easing as the years go by. Mind you, this season, Villa are really getting on my nerves. Turned off as soon as they scored the winner last night. The media are desperate for them to stay up. Perhaps its just Grealish I dislike...

I don’t, but cannot recommend strongly enough that you go to Elephant Nature Park instead of the abusive trekking camps if elephants are on your Chiang Mai agenda. ENP is an accredited sanctuary, anywhere you can ride an elephant is hugely abusive to the animals. As a side note, there is a Norwich City themed bar somewhere - possibly Koh Pha Ngan or somewhere. I didn’t find it on my travels there but a mate did when he went

Yep, they also charged Poland for renting the planes, food and lodging for the pilots and raided polish gold reserves to claim it back. Β£100 million was the cost to Poland for helping to save Britain. Then we were betrayed and sold to Stalin who was scarcely better than Hitler. Shameful the way the pilots and Poland in general was treated.
