4 pointsHanley and Amadou will both start Saturday. Amadou in midfield and Hanley at the back. Hanley will have had an extra weeks training to get match fit and a specialised centre back is what we need to accompany Godfrey, he may not be everyone`s favourite but he`s our captain and a decent centre half who deserves a little bit more support and respect from a few people on here. Don`t forget his first game back from a very long layoff, which led to some criticism, was against the European champions. Let`s give him a chance.

2 pointsI suspect that Madders would want Man U to buy some more players before he would go there. They are in a bit of disarray, and why go to somewhere like that at the moment? He's thriving at Leicester and you could argue that Leicester are 'better' than Man U, currently.

1 pointJust back from watching my first live match at Barcelona's stadium against Villarreal. Not quite what i had expected as the quality of the game was very average and at times we play much better . What really amazed me were the home fans celebrations when the teams came out. The number of flags was pathetic in comparison to our Barclay End, and as for the atmosphere...... well it hardly excited me. About 70000 there scattered around the enormous stadium but it seemed to me the crowd didn't really connect to the game at ground level. I know thay have big named players, but to be honest, many of ours were equally as good (except Messy obviously!!) On the night. The Barca fans said after the game that it was a poor performance. I have to agree, and nothing compares to the skill, excitement and atmosphere we all love at Carrow road. You can keep your Messi's. Carrow road and Farkeball is where my heart is.

1 pointAs the title of the thread says......just enjoy the fact we are playing football in the Premiership, embrace it, enjoy it, do not get down if we lose, do not go overboard if we win, just enjoy it..............

1 pointNo plan B , poor timing of substitutes, not good enough etc etc etc what a bunch of whinging knobs!!!! Get a grip!! Burnley have not been top 10 in this division, played in Europe for nothing - they know a trick or two!! They did us in the first 20 minutes bloody well, and then shut up shop . Well played Burnley. But we were not as poor as the knobs are making out. Young team , learning - get real!!!!!!!

1 pointAgreed. As well as being a top player, he seems like a nice lad with a sensible head on his shoulders. I will always follow his career and wish him to go as far as he can (which, is very far).

1 pointRegardless of a sell on clause or wherever James ends up, I really hope he's a great success and eventually made Captain of England......
-
1 pointBecause he had just been injured and it was pretty clear we needed to sell, personally I think £22m + 15% onward profit was a really good deal, plenty of players just can't make the step up to the Prem. If he carries on performing with Leicester it's just a question of time till he moves to a bigger club.

1 pointFor the avoidance of doubt Rhino look at my avatar and it was me the slutty old retired bog cleaning bingo calling Binner was talking about. As i was at Burnley i had better not comment on the game as it just might start you off again. 😜

1 pointAgreed. Make the decision based upon the opposition and their specific strengths. I am not a Hanley fan at this level, but against a big lump, he can be effective.

1 pointFive of the first six are girls (possibly all six). Don't tell Tilly. 😂

1 point1 goal last season, 3 the one before - total 4 of in his last 35 starts (with a further 18 from the bench) It can only be ACN
-
1 pointMy wrong. I meant Benteke. That said, Lukaku wasn't much threat on the Wolves' goal, was he?

1 pointFirst of the Norwich meetings is this Thurs 26th ( that one is full) , the last one is in Norwich on Oct 22nd (you need to register on ncfc website)

1 pointYep, dont see Ajax, Barcelona or Man City suddenly going all long ball , crash bang whallop if things aren't going their way.

1 pointKeep recreating the atmosphere we summoned at home last Saturday, that will surely garner points on it's own.

1 pointDidn't see the game as I was at the Rugby with my son and a lifelong Burnley supporter. And even though we knew the score, we were more concerned with our performance. If we win ten this season then I will be delighted and that will keep us up. Anything else is cream.

1 pointBalance and perspective is what is required. Accept that we are new and inexperienced at this level, we’ll have good days and bad days while learning each week. We have an exceptional coach who is learning all the time too, Sean Dyche has been round the block several times but you can bet the next time we play them we will perform better. There is no need for knee jerk reactions. Judge the club and it’s staff on the last 26 months rather than the last 90 minutes.

1 point6 games and 6 points. An average of a point a game gives us 38 points, and another season in the premiership. The comment ‘No plan B ‘particularly amused me. I believe he is one the most astute coaches to have worked at this club, and to suggest the he and his team have no plan B, is ludicrous, and if a journalist had written it, he would quite rightly be accused of lazy journalism.

1 pointOur plan B was using the pace of Hernandez rather than the build up through the middle. Plan B is on hold

1 pointA man called Matthew who went to the London meeting tweeted this I spent the evening with Ben Kensall at a consultation on the membership scheme. I have some observations. Ben is very impressive. I’ve worked in politics for 20 years and let me tell you that a lot of politicians can’t do what he did tonight. It was an impressive show of normalcy, niceness, competency and determination. The evening was also clearly a genuine attempt to listen. It wasn’t set up as a show trial. He could’ve won points by coming down to London for a verbal beating. He did a bit of that *and* ran a proper, professional, thoughtful listening exercise. It was good and interesting. The club is in a tough spot. There aren’t enough tickets for what fans want. And the club wants to make as much money from the process as possible without pissing people off too much. There are - imho - somethings they can do. 1. Make some tickets available to people who can show they have a long-standing commitment (ie points holders). And make some (25%?) tickets available to people who can’t or haven’t attended many games. 2. Do allocation of tickets by ballot/lottery not a 9am scramble. 3. Create an international membership so fans who travel hundreds or thousands of miles to see a game can get a ticket. 4. Have some sort of concessions 5. Whatever happens, definitely keep the glorious silky scarf they gave out with this years membership. Anyway, the membership stuff has been annoying af but tonight’s meeting is another reminder that we have it *infinitely* better than any Norwich fans in decades. They got this one wrong but their efforts to fix it are genuinely impressive (so far). OTBC
