Well Kenny and Jamal both completed 90, and Godfrey and Cantwell both looked fine at the end. Pukki seems to be okay too. Let's hope Aarons is just a little twist... no big deal if he misses Man City as long as he's back for the games afterwards.

Leave him alone! They all do a great job. It isn't easy being a reporter on sports and some people aren't that natural in front of the camera. MB, who I know pretty well, is a rare case of being good both off camera and in front of it. This is partly why, I should imagine, The Athletic were so keen to snap him up. Also, he's a good writer of course. Appreciate that we all miss Michael but let the other boys do their thing!

There's a group on Facebook where people will offer their season tickets if they can't go to a game. They offer them for free and then the recipient pays an amount to charity. Lee John Clarke (aka The Farke Knight) organises it. He's obvs a bit mad, but a decent enough lad!

It's an odd one this. Chris Sutton is one of our own but he rarely gets that label. I think fans are generally a bit distant from him. I don't know why. He was a top player for us during a very successful period. This video was great. Maybe we will take him to our hearts a bit more. He deserves that. Huckerby and co enjoy that.

Just what the doctor ordered! A nice 4-0 win to bring home the bacon. Well done Molly you 🌟

Byram was bought as cover for Aarons so if he isn't good enough he shouldn't be here. I was in favour of resting Max against Man City anyway so an enforced change is not the end of the world. Beyond that is another matter. An opportunity for Byram and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do. As for Godfrey he is a future England CB there's no doubt about that. Unfortunately for us he will need to remain in the Premiership from here on in.

Boothroyd just said on BT that he rolled his ankle. Hopefully that means no ankle ligament damage.

To answer your question: kick the everliving @#!! of him, as cynical and unpleasant as that may be. West Ham did it to us, now time to dish some out. Although it's hardly just him to worry about, so even if we give Sterling a dead leg, another 80 million signing will come off the bench. I think the real question is "how can I make myself emotionally-resilient enough to endure the stuffing we are most likely to get?" We'll lose 99/100 against Man City (maybe I'm being a bit generous to us actually), but hopefully we'll lose playing a bit of decent football.

They don't have one less now as our ncfsc volunteer Connor Southwell has joined them today and will be great. Fine young man who has done loads of interviews for MFW and will do a great job at Archant reporting on ncfc with Paddy & David.

Could be said about any player at any club no? if Maddison starts performing for England the same will happen with him and Leicester. We are not unique.

DF seems just fine. I haven't really noticed much difference. I'm sure he is putting his own personal stamp on his new position. Give him some time. They also have an even greater workload, with one less team member, currently. Michael Starr: "Not a direct criticism of the Pinkun" - No, your post isn't. It's a direct (personal, and unnecessary - in my opinion) criticism of DF, instead.

For those interested in attending the consultation meetings there is still availability for 22nd October. A good opportunity to make any points you have about the scheme to club officials face to face rather than bang away on a keyboard.

I think we'll need all of our goalkeepers on the pitch! How many are allowed to stand in the goal at any one time? 😉

I think we may end up up having to play Amadou/Tettey as DMs but I think it's essential to play Moritz whenever feasible. perhaps sometimes we could play something like a 4-2-1-2-1 with him as a link to Emi & Todd as a fluid pair behind Teemu? The possibilities are endless!

Thanks Ron, good read. My take on the reservations expressed is that we need someone like Amadou or Tettey played with him to compensate for the defensive gaps. Maybe one day injuries will allow it.

Think it was more about disasterous refereeing than any new rule. Italy was lot better and deserved to win, but that was never a penalty.

How often is a fourth choice centre half needed but for cup games? The injuries sustained by Klose and Zimmermann in the last fortnight are just horrendous luck, simple as that. Unfortunately we don’t have the money to go signing top quality defenders, we just have to get on with it with what we have and be positive.

    Self funding model strikes again

A great honour for Ben if it is true but bad news for us as the Big Boy vultures may swoop in January and as we know a sizeable offer will be hard to resist. Well let's be honest he would be gone unfortunately to help the self funding with no ambition model.
