4 pointsWaiting for the 3rd kit release - that's normally the one thats a bit more out there in terms of design
-
3 pointsA lot of that £70 million comes from the attacking potential of the full backs and to some extent good distribution from central defenders ! In the modern game, a lot of a teams attacks rely on its back four, just as its defence relies upon its more forwards players. Particularly teams like us where the team ethos is what made us "better than the sum of our parts."

2 pointsGood lord it's been an hour since you asked the question Formingo!! Am I the only person who realises we need NLCDM? I hope that the management are aware. Maybe if enough of us make a fuss about it on here, they'll take notice. I'm surprised that no one else has picked up on this.

2 points😀 I think he will do well next season, there I've done it! ( there is always the risk that he wont of course )
-
2 pointsHe was on Talksh!te for an hour the other morning, came across really well. Just wants to play football. We all get frustrated when players can’t play but can’t get my head round why anyone would slate him or any player for being injured.

2 pointsThe interviewer is really good, so much better and more likeable than the more popular TalkNorwich boys, hope his channel takes of soon as he has some good content. First saw him on the Pink Un show and then the Webber interview, asks good questions and lets the interviewee speak, instead of interrupting and making it all about him. Jarvis comes across well. Just think the stresses of being a pacy, slight winger who started playing very young in the robust lower leagues ruined his joints and ended his career prematurely, it wasn't his fault our medical evaluation was inadequate or ignored, im sure he'd have rather been playing the last few seasons over sitting in the treatment room.

2 pointsThat’s the opposite of “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” isn’t it? If he makes it, you can say I told you so, if he doesn’t you say I only said maybe!

1 pointI will be in charge of transfers says Steve Bruce new coach of Newcastle. We all believe you Steve you are definitely not an Ashley Stooge. Yes you are as ugly as an elephant and getting more so as your trunk gets longer with all the lies. We believe you but is it really credible, see you on 27 Aug with your new multi million striker or perhaps not.

1 pointIt’s actually not that uncommon. Especially when Prem clubs are selling to European leagues that can’t compete on wages. It will save Norwich money and move on a player who wasn’t going to get any minutes, so it is a win - win situation for all involved.
-
1 pointPlenty of permanent transfers see the previous club continuing to pay some of the player’s wages.
-
1 pointLots of wages cleared off the books now, I wonder if we have 1 big flex in us in this transfer window or if we are just going to play it safe and bank the extra money? When you see they types of player floating around for £15m you can easily see why the club don't fancy it. I do hope we unearth one powerful CDM to upgrade Tettey from somewhere though. Kind of hope we find a young asset to have a gamble on for £15m or so in the ilk of Kalvin Phillips or something though it seems even Phillips is being priced at £25m Problem is that I don't see any particular areas we need an obvious upgrade bar there as the lads that got us up have done so well. It would be upgrades pretty much everywhere to take us to the next level though. Maybe a cheeky loan like Krystian Bielek or Kasey Palmer with a view to a permanent if we stay up would be useful as well

1 pointReckon we'd be able to cope with him better if we signed a new defensive midfielder?
-
1 pointGood point so , err, what position do people think we still need to focus on getting someone in ?

1 pointDon’t patronise them, I’m sure they’ll be trying their hardest. Not their fault we’re head and shoulders above their level.

1 pointI agree. Schaulke were forced into low percentage shooting chances most of the time and ML and TT don't give away many free kicks in dangerous positions. Barring the giveaway which led to their goal, I thought the midfield was pretty tight throughout and linked well with both the defenders and attackers. Both were involved in our second goal.

1 pointOn the face of it, 7,000 makes it sound as though there’ll be a mad scramble for tickets and thousands disappointed for every game. However, we are yet to see it in action and the stats held by the club do honestly suggest that this won’t be the case. The games at W Ham, Spurs and Bournemouth seem most likely to cause issues but even for a particular high profile game last season using the old scheme they had to make tickets available for 21,000 fans (trickle down) before the allocation was sold. It might be the unmitigated disaster that 7,000 into 3,000 sounds (let’s hope not) but until we see it in action we won’t know. They DID research the numbers though and, perhaps naively, I don’t believe they’d oversell the memberships and intentionally leave thousands disappointed and angry every week. I’ve been wrong before though..
-
1 pointFunny how we all see things, Fenway - I actually thought we kept things pretty tidy, they really didn’t give us too many worrying moments over 90 mins so I would say TT and Mo didn’t do a bad job at all given the hard working roles that Daniel Farke insists on. A Norwich player nowadays has to do the work of two men, it’s a huge factor behind our success.
-
1 pointNewcastle are a club which feels the weight of their enormous fan base more than most. For a number of reasons the appointment of Steve Bruce is generally unpopular up there. If he starts off badly this could all come back to bite them in the bum. The Toon seem to have had the most negative Summer of all the Premier League sides. It has not been kind to them. From being reasonably stable at the outset they would now appear to be amongst the favourites to fail unless Bruce still has enough left in the tank as well as the bank. Daniel Farke or Steve Bruce anybody? We need to kick them in the goolies while they appear in some disarray.
-
1 pointI think that’s partly it, when has red ever felt like Norwich? White has been used a lot, but have always liked the different designs where we’ve used purple or green etc. Red isn’t very fun, or “Norwich”
-
1 pointPipe down everyone, it's lush. Guess you'll be able to spot me pretty easily this season, as I'll be the only one wearing it... 🙂
-
1 pointYes, but surely we all know that we are pretty good at the team thing after seeing last season? Klose would be my first pick, he’s been there and done it already in the PL. I trust Zimbo to do a decent job and rate Hanley higher than many on here seem to, so whoever partners Ben, it’s a decent pairing. Like I say, with Lewis and Aarons, it ought to be a formidable defence. It’s not an impossible scenario to imagine three out of the four bought by teams theoretically rated much higher than we are in 2020, but that’s a topic for another day.

1 pointyep, it will be ready just in time for our first away game great idea that, having another strip we can play our away games in except that it will clash with up to half of the other club's kit from the most obvious Liverpool, to clubs like S'oton and Sheff Utd ps I would be curious to know how many of these shirts, which look like something the local tyre fitting company might wear, are sold this season
-
1 pointClashing with the opposition isn't the driver for wearing the 2nd & 3rd kit, it's a commercial decision.
-
1 pointThat's rank, I've never liked us in red.... or blue for that matter. Hope we don't use it too often.

1 pointThought we looked good considering this was the first real test as far as opposition goes and could have been a few more. Watched the Trybull/Leitner partnership in the middle of the park and they looked good. I think that Mo will be our surprise this season, got a funny feeling the Premier League will suit him 👍🏼
-
1 pointOh, I was getting a bit ahead of myself then. I was entering super smug mode and taunting my liverpool supporting mates that we were steamrolling Schalke who were ahead of us in their preseason. Never mind. Still 0 - 3 to us at Anfield.

1 pointMotherwell have accepted a bid from Norwich City for their 17-year-old starlet, Reece McAlear reports The Scottish Sun.
-
1 pointReal kit revealed and it won't have a sponsors logo on it. I think I'd take being a 48 hour publicity stunt in exchange for a sponsor free shirt.
