Frankly its a load of tripe. What are these two teams champions of? It needs to revert back to how it was with only the champions of each nation getting through with a straight knock out format. If you are good enough you get through. If the big teams want a break away, fine - the condition is you never return to your domestic league, cup competitions - I could go further but this format is so boring with the same teams getting through - give me Viking Stavanger v Trabsonspor or HJK Helsinki v Metalurgs any day....

I could list everything I think is crap but as far as Iā€™m concerned the more diversity the better. If we all liked the same thing it would be a very boring world. That said, the stuff I like is way cooler.

I'll put on the best from the selection of I've seen, based on my gut instinct: Tottenham and BTTS: Ā£4 Liverpool and BTTS: Ā£4 Draw/Tottenham: Ā£1 van Dijk to score: Ā£1 A bit more of a high risk, 'all or nothing' approach compared to the others... Let's see how it goes.

You say that partly in jest Iā€™m sure, but thereā€™s a little part of me that thinks we are capable of giving most of the PL a good test. Iā€™m not a betting man, but I may stick a tenner on us finishing top four/six? next season. The odds should be good. Iā€™m sure reality will set in pretty soon when the season starts, but itā€™s nice to dream.

Iā€™ve only ā€œgotā€ Dark Side of the Moon in the last year, I can appreciate it for what it is now, when I was a young punk I didnā€™t want to like it as it was thought of as a load of prog/ hippy cr@p šŸ˜

Wow GJL! Any owner making that his first move in Bladesville effectively will have signed his death warrant! He would never be able to walk the streets of S2 without a private army keeping guard. Wilder is simply local boy done good, can do no wrong.

I love the strategy Wacky. I've placed them to our best advantage and we have : - Tottenļ»æham and BTTS Ā£4 Bet 365 13/2 Ā£30.00 Liverpool and BTTS Ā£4 Bet 365 13/5 Ā£14.40 Draw/Tottenham Ā£1 Bet 365 8/1 Ā£9.00 Van Dijk to score Ā£1 Bet 365 9/1 Ā£10.00 I think they all refer to 90 mins. Good luck WWIAFTM and all you PUPsšŸ™ƒ

The Smiths are in the top 3 of my favourite bands ever. The Jam and New Order are there too. Really puzzled by what Morrissey has become. The patriotism was always there and I'd love to think he is just putting a point across clumsily, has dug a hole for himself and, true to form, will not back down. If not, I'll feel as disappointed as when Ben Elton 'sold out' and started toadying up to those he used to savage in the 80s. I won't be turning my back on The Smiths back catalogue because of Morrissey's more recent comments - that's not fair on Johnny Marr et al. Loved the band for the music and never bought into the gladioli, hearing aid etc. gimmicks.

I don't know how you can leave by a back door and not the front. Wagner might have been miffed because Webber didn't say anything to him about it beforehand, but then that happens in all sorts of job changing situations. Huddersfield brought on his leaving themselves - and to his credit Webber wasn't sucked in to thinking he had made it just getting to the PL. He wanted more than just that - he wanted the club structure to be right and Huddersfield did not do that. You do get the impression that he has more say over what happens at Norwich and that he will be able to shape things how he wants more than he was allowed to do at Huddersfield - and that must be appealing to him and likely to keep him here longer. He will go eventually, but no reason to think he will be chasing money or status for the sake of it. For him to want to leave, either the conditions would have to have changed here and any job offered to him from elsewhere would have to be having full control, as he has here. Speculation will happen - it is a positive thing - it shows we have an exceptional person as Sporting Director.

Is that what Robert Plant's song "Big Log" is about?

Why are we always looking for leaders to be paragons of virtue? He is doing a great job. I don't need him to be the Angel Gabriel too.

Iā€™m not sure Huddersfield would say the same. Wagner was quite public of his criticism of Webber. The quote was something along the lines of ā€˜he could have left through the front door, but he chose another way outā€™. Wagner was also miffed that Webber had arranged the new contract for Wagner, to be activated on promotion. In the negotiations Webber had talked about how he intended to stay at Huddersfield for the next couple of seasons, only to then walk out. Which is kind of what Webber said he wouldnā€™t do to Farke. Webber is great at his job and Norwich are massively fortunate to have him. But he is also an expert with the media and knows what to say and when. Which is one of his big strengths. I just wouldnā€™t take anything he says too literally.

He's full of tub-thumping bluster but devoid of tactical nous and coaching ability - a spent force, relying on past glories for which he was a participating factor of a larger movement for which he cannot take sole credit. He is Ipswich and Ipswich is him. Reminds of me of Nietzsche "when you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares into you"

Hasnt Maddison created more opportunities than any other player in the prem this past season? At midtable Leicester? Can see why bigger clubs would now be considering him.
