The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now. The current management are slowly removing the small-mindset which has hampered for so long. Use this promotion to grow the stadium or hope to yo-yo lucky.... Again!

Ya..As it stands, developing Colney first has proved to be the absolute right thing to do. Ground increase has always been one of those "so close but so far away" projects that both the club and its fans have longed for and of course the main stand sticks out like a sore thumb as the place for a restrucuture. One of the commentators on Radio Norfolk at the last home game mentioned he thought a 35-40k stadium would be deserving of this club, but i personally think that would be to much, a 40k stadium...i cant see how the main stand could increase capacity by up to 13k more without being perhaps a triple tier and looking ugly. I would love to see a tier added on top of the existing stand, maybe to add another 3-5k, which would increase the capacity to 30-32k which is actually in line with many new stadia outside the top 6 Prem sides and would be more realistic than 35-40k.

Everything about the best of NCFC. It can't last forever of course and you get quite strongl messages from both about their respective ages. We have been on such a journey and I don't mind admitting I've been proud of what they stand for (the values) even though from time to time you disagree with decisions. It's the values that remain. I have a sense too we will be having a fantastic season next year (top 10). After all, we've been watching a team playing like they are in the Premier League in the Championship. No wonder Delia and Michael could see it very clearly at the start of the season. Here's to 2019/20.

I must admit I hate the idea of bringing in young players from Liverpool etc who aren't yet good enough for their first team. You can get a Harry Kane, who's a future star but simply not yet good enough for the Premier league at any level, which is a waste of time. Or indeed a player who will never be good enough to make it at top level. It's possible you get one who's good enough for a lower Prem team but not yet good enough for Liverpool, chances are Liverpool benefit more from their improvement over the season because at the end of it they have a player with Prem experience whereas we've just had a decent player for a season but then have to replace them after the season ends. I would only be comfortable if it's a deal with an option to buy. Otherwise they can loan them to some of the stronger teams in the Championship. We should be looking for players who are committed to a future with City.

A would wager there is many a club supporter who wished they had "owners" with the same attitude as ours. Lets face it, they don't crave attention because they were already famous. They know their limitations regarding knowledge of the game so have appointed Webber. There are no skeletons in the cupboard. They are well liked by everyone in the game. They are nice people. What more could you ask for?

I actually like Wilder. I know we got the win there, but there’s an acceptable level of time-wasting line and I think we maybe crossed the line that day. I wouldn’t feel particular happy or proud to see us to win like that every time we won. Wilder’s reaction was also OTT but he was obviously still fuming at the time. Since then he’s always been interesting to listen to in interviews and I thought he was very humble in the 2-2 draw at CR earlier in the season where I actually thought they had outplayed us for the majority of the game. Clearly no longer has any axe to grind so why should we? That said there is absolutely no way I’d change him for Farke. Ever. Your comment on his interviews just strikes me as someone who is too lazy to try and understand what he’s saying past his accent... he’s humoured and generally always straight talking. And your other points are just meh, yes wilder deserves enormous praise but he doesn’t deserve it from us? We have our own manager who’s doing an even better job with a more attractive style of football (I do like how Sheff Utd play though). Regardless, even if you had some legitimate points, the timing of this post is just weird and I don’t really understand why you feel the need to post it! We’ve literally just got promoted and on the cusp of beating Wilder to the league title! This post is like giving your wife a list of things you prefer about your mate’s wife during your honeymoon.

This is James Kent. I have killed Wolfo. I feel Norwich have had an excellent football season, largely thanks to some excellent performances by various football players, and also some excellent football tactics by our manager. If we continue on this trajectory, we can hope to win some more games of football next season, each of which will give us three points. Please remember to follow me on LinkedIn and Twitter and Facebook, and please please PLEASE give me a job. James Kent

Welcome to Rays Funds, supported by Turner European Consulting and Kare Plus Here we are at the final week of the season for the twelfth time. I rather like that as this season comes to a close the total amount raised on these threads passes £12,000. An average of £1,000 each season is good but doesn’t tell the whole story. Because it’s only since we changed to raising funds for the CSF that the big totals have been presented. Amazingly the last three seasons each raised more than £2,000. So thank you for all your support in the continued success of our threads. You PUPs are amazing and much loved by the CSF and especially our wonderful DS boys and girls. Big thanks too to PUPanon for generously sponsoring the Norwich selections. And BTTSanon who stepped in to give us something else to do on those awful international weekends. Also a massive thank you to the companies who again sponsored these threads this season. We would never raise so much money without this great support. Check them out here : - http://www.turnereuropeanconsulting.com/ https://www.kareplus.co.uk/norwich/ For this final week we have BTTSanon selecting the final six results. BTTSanon has made a huge difference to these threads on those dreary international weekends and as listed on Ray’s signature BTTS has added to this season’s total. £126 is a brilliant return over those weekends and I’m chuffed that BTTSanon has agreed to do the same thing on those international weeks next season. What a star! Let’s help to get a win in this last week with some great selections from the games played on Sat/Sun/Mon of this weekend listed on the Bill Hill or Bet 365 sites. We’ve got PUPanon making the selections for the Norwich game at Villa on Sunday. This has been the sixth season that the generous PUPanon has sponsored the Norwich match selections and in that time those picks have been responsible for £1,734, £342 of which has been raised so far this season. PUPanon has won twice before when making these selections so let’s help him with some great suggestions for outcomes listed on Bill Hill or Bet 365. First Wazzock looks set to be crowned PUPs League Champion this weekend with only two wrong all season and a far superior profitability. What we do on these threads is the fabric of this generous community and spreads over the whole board with the wonderful pledges and commitments that make it possible to present so much money every year. You are all superstars. Now I’ll hand the thread over to BTTSanon and PUPanon. Remember there’s no pressure because we are all going to be doing our best to help you to success. We all stand together with the single aim of raising money for the Community Sports Foundation and our fabulous Downs Syndrome boys and girls. Good luck all you PUPs... take it away the anonymous ones... the thread is yours.......🙃...... Came across some old photos my Dad took when we were at Carrow Road on the opening day of the 1990-91 season. We played newly promoted Sunderland in a very entertaining game which we won 3 - 2 having led 2 - 0 at half-time. Apologies for the poor quality. The originals aren't great and these are photos taken from the original photos. Here's hoping our first game back in the top division results in a victory!

So when the money was 'Pi$$ed up the wall' and they 'let the lunatics run the asylum at Colney', they were still the owners, but they are not included in that statement ? However they are to be praised for the promotion, the good recruitment, the bond initiative (The original theme of this thread). Don't get me wrong i'm not bashing the owners, and I wouldn't change them, but you cannot be selective in your view.

In bocca al lupo 🐾🐕 BTTSAnon...your generosity is much appreciated 🥳 Suggest a trip tour architecturally-splendid Estonia for: Flora Tallinn vs Tallinna Kalev - Home win ..some local rivalry, but far too strong a defence and too potent an attack...👍 As for PUPAnon’s - thank you for your generosity too - Norwich bet 👍🥳🏆....think a 1-1 draw a very good bet, though suggest Norwich to be Champions, just because I really like the sound of it (and it really is well-deserved) 👍🥳🤣🥰🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 You are a good man Nutella. The good in the world is built on people like you, one voluntary kind act at a time 😊 Parma In all the excitement I note that the Estonian game was actually played last night and ineligible, so will swiftly correct my error and move to Ligue 1 W for: Lyon vs Metz - Home win 👍🏆👌🥰 Parma

I was thinking something similar, a scheme to encourage new ST holders , perhaps over a two/three year span and to include a season ticket incentive to us with one already. If there was ever a time to do this it is now. Our footballing style has been praised highly over the season and it is superb to say the least. It has caught the attention of the public and if the last scheme was anything to go by I suspect raising at least 3 x that amount again may be possible. An extension to the GW stand for me, 5-6000 extra, max. New blood, younger supporters introduced. Besides, there is nothing between here and London to compete or compare!

I'm going for Bayern Munich to beat Hannover this week. For Norwich, it would be fitting for Pukki to score the final goal of the season. Well done everyone and thanks to Eddie and everyone who's donated money to the cause this season. Some superb results, both for the PUPs and the club. One of the best seasons ever, overall, I'd say. Hope to see some of you at Villa and on Monday for what will be a long but great weekend. As this is the last one, just a quick plug, if I may, for my fundraising for the Coastal Challenge walk for the CSF in June. This is 47 miles from Hunstanton to Cromer, and tonight I'm taking part in an overnight training walk which covers the entire 26 miles of Marriott's Way. If anyone is feeling generous even after all the donations and winnings this season, my fundraising page can be found at: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/GrahamHumphrey Thanks all, good luck to all PUPs this weekend and I'm looking forward to doing it all again in August.

I don't see a Bond as fully financing the build, but part of a bigger package. I still don't see why there is any requirement to concern the architects over building on top of the City stand - just take the roof off and build behind and over (as at Anfield and at Hillsborough where the road behind the original stand has also been retained a la Carrow Road). Indeed, rumours abound in Sheffield that United will be building behind and over their own South Stand, within the next two seasons (the joint owner McCabe is a property developer and could easily finance and make money out of the space behind the seats). As others have highlighted above, like with South Stand, the construction could be funded out of future revenues. As noted above most Premier League teams would easily fill 3,000 plus seats, so aiming for 32- 35,000 should be aim. The only real issue is the interim impact on existing season ticket holders - hence the behind and over construction.

Also a big thanks to Nutty for another season of amazing work in pulling this thread together, never misses, always positive and his hard work has allowed us all to contribute in a small way that makes a huge difference to the boys and girls. So here we go with our final pick of the season. It’s been huge fun and I’d also like to say a massive thank you to Nutty for making this all happen and to all the pups for their support and good cheer, especially when those banker games go against us 😡. It seems quite a classy move to give our anonymous sponsors the final pick so for what it’s worth my selections are WOLVES to beat Fulham and for us I think Villa will be tricky but I have a strong feeling it will be 1-1 and that we will be Champions 💪🤞😁.

I’d not get caught too much on the ages of players - within reason, of course. Clearly we’ve blooded some younger guys this year but Teemu and Mario are both 29, showing we aren’t wedded to one thing or the other on age...which is as it should be.

I have always used the car parking at the Star City leisure complex. Parking is free, plentiful and there are no time limits. According to Google it is 1.7 miles from Villa Park and a 25 minute walk (I reckon I walk it in less). It saves paying to park and avoids all the traffic near the ground. Getting away after the game is easy as well. Shame my loyalty points were not high enough to be able to get a ticket!

They were scummy in the 1970s and they are even more scummy now. I want them to go down to League 2, then out of the league altogether, then quietly disappear. Then they can all support West Ham which is their local team anyway. Is it OK to feel like this?

I get that completely. I was nervous all last week, even though we were all but mathematically promoted. Before the match at Wembley I was just excited to be seeing Norwich playing there. I still rank the Playoff Final at Cardiff up there as one of my best football experiences. I've watched it back a few times, always turn it off just after Iwan scores!

100% prefer Farke. Wilder is a tosspot, Farke is pure class. You said it yourself, we have scored more goals than Sheff U's attacking style that you're lauding. Farke had to sell 40% of last season's goals, and our best players last season. Wilder has never had to deal with that kind of pressure. Farke took a team that finished lower than Sheff last season, spent less money than Wilder and we scored more goals en route to a probable trophy. Wilder doesn't have the coaching skills Farke has. Every single one of the city team have improved markedly as players under his stewardship. Wilder has improved their team in terms of playing to his system, but he hasn't really improved individual players. Farke has no fear about chucking our kids in. Wilder has given a total of 2 academy products 4 appearances over the season. That's it. I'm not dismissing what Wilder has done, he's done a brilliant job there, but Paul Lambert should be the reference point for him. He created a strong unity in the squad, and has ridden the momentum from League one all the way through to the Prem. Not sure how long he can carry that on at Sheff, but he would be an utter disaster if he went anywhere else, whereas I absolutely think Farke is the more competent and could succeed somewhere else. Sidenote: I can't believe you called Farke's interviews verbal diaorrhea and then proceeded to **** yourself senseless over Wilder's incoherent ramblings about how us getting stuck in traffic and getting to Brammall Lane late was one of the reasons we beat them. Absolutely bizarre. Wilder has improved since then with his interviews, but he's still just a rambling tw@ who says lots of words but absolutely nothing coherent.
