20 pointsSorry folks, I posted my report at 11pm last night but it got eaten by the 502 Gateway problem and is lost somewhere in the ether. Suffice to say it was a wonderful night of raw emotion. We have only ever clinched promotion in a home match once before. In 1960 I stood in the old Barclay stand with my dear old dad. Last night i was at the other end of the ground with my son. Neat bookends to a lifetime of supporting our beloved club. At the end I didn't want to leave the ground and watching the players on their lap of honour I couldn't help but think of what a wonderful roller coaster ride its been, so many ups and downs, despair and elation in fairly equal measure. What a time to have been alive and experienced it all, I am indeed blessed. What a night, what a team and what a very special club we support. On the ball City, never mind the danger. Hopefully more to come next year if I'm still in the land of the livingπ

3 pointsI have watched them all season and you just see them as footballers. Equals all trying to get the better of the opposition. And they did most of the time. But then I see the YouTube videos of Aarons and Cantwell celebrating after Saturday and I now see they are just kids! I have older Grandchidren. But what bloody marvellous and talented kids they are and there is so much satisfaction in seeing the praise and adulation they are getting - and they are ours! I think this promotion, although we have seen it coming for weeks has probably been as good as 72.

2 pointsIt should be displayed on the wall of every board room in the world. βBeing a team behind the scenes as well as on the pitch. A good manager needs a good club behind him and a good club needs a good manager. It is a two way thing.β

2 pointsI want Leeds to thrash the scum to within an inch of their footballing lives, especially as it wonβt do Leeds a bit of good as well.
-
2 pointsJust found this on twitter. Someone managed to turn the slow-mo on by accident just as Mario got the crosshairs on the top corner. The result is epic. What a ****ing goal that was - a goal worthy of promotion any day of the week. https://twitter.com/kyle01_s/status/1122412425905692672

2 pointsPrediction:- 1) Itβs all a conspiracy, everyone hates us and fixes it so we do not win, or 2) Weβre a big club, everyone ups their game when they play us, or 3) Other clubs are <insert expletive>s, are βtinpotβ, have no history and donβt deserve to be above the mighty Leeds, or 4) We were robbed, just like we always are..., or 5) A combination of some or all of the above. ... Sits back and awaits the fun.....

2 pointsTo be fair - he did do the right thing and that pleasantly surprised me. I wonder what would have happened if they were still in the shout with automatics though...

2 pointsFor the most entertaining season ever! I've been supporting us for 48 years and this season is without doubt the most entertaining I have ever seen. Goals galore, relentless attacking football and endless incident and drama. Simply brilliant!!
-
2 pointsIt's worked out beautifully. Senior management have been criticized, but three promotions in a decade. Well done.

2 pointsThe man is a legend already, what a thoroughly decent magnificent chap he is. He took his opportunity here and grasped it both hands, anyone with an ounce of sense could see what he was trying to achieve from the first few press conferences, and when we kicked off his first game, it had the stamp of Daniel Farke on it. Albeit that first season was still shackled with the malaise of 3-4 seasons of excessive wages, aged players and a culture that was just plain wrong. Did Df veer of course, never, did he bow to pressure of the doubters, not a chance, he never flinched, he looked to the ones that always supported him and simply carried on, head down and towards the goal and boy has he paid us ALL back, what a man, what a coach and what a team he has assembled. I cannot wait for the next chapter whether it be a period in the Prem or a season in and a season back in the Champs, because you just know with Daniel at the wheel, stuff is gonna happen!! To Daniel Farke I give thanks, what a brilliant season, what an achievement, what a man!

1 pointWas fantastic to see, and all possible because there was no pitch invasion. Leeds fans (and one on here obviously) claiming weβre tinpot for not celebrating promotion βcorrectlyβ. Utter nonsense. Players/staff and their families got to celebrate in safety on the pitch and we got to go crazy in the stands. Well played city fans, was a great night to be at the carra

1 pointWe're scoring a penalty to win us the point/s and the title.

1 pointWe are very lucky to have them despite some of the abuse they have received. Best owners in football.

1 pointIf they play all the starters which is unlikely. If they keep kicking us like they are Leeds which is unlikely as we wonβt be in playoffs and theyβre not cloggers. If their players are playing at full tilt which is unlikely as they arenβt going to be risking injuries ahead of playoffs. A tepid draw will suit both teams.

1 pointThought I would put this awful thread to good use. Here's a Leeds joke: Are Leeds Ayling? Forshaw!

1 pointIs this why nobody ever hires out St Andrews Hall for a promotion party? 4 promotions to the PL and always got lucky with Messiahs. No other common denominator...

1 pointAbsolutely Herman. Itβs made a massive difference to the atmosphere and looks phenomenal. Canβt wait to see what they come up with next year. Think Til needs to eat some humble pie on this one, what they have achieved on a relatively small budget has been remarkable. Love our yellow wall and the scarf version for away games... watch every club in the prem copy it next season when it starts getting more media attention
-
1 pointWell, I couldn't even like your post Ricardo - shonky bloody site! Thanks very much for all your reports this season which, as you say, has been truly wonderful!

1 pointUnbelievable achievement for my former club @NorwichCityFC . Great scenes to watch Daniel Farke and all the lads have been Breathtaking to watch all season. See you at the Carra next year canaries #NCFC
-
1 pointMadison is part of this story. Farke believed in him and gave him his chance. He shined, attracted interest and moved on for very good money. This stabilised the club's financial situation and allowed us movement elsewhere, which ultimately improved the capabilities of the squad. Another amazing piece of management by Farke and Webber and nice to see James' still has some yellow and green in his heart, will get a good reception at Carrow Road next season ππππ

1 pointIn fairness fans of every other club up and down the land will be sharing these sentiments. Our fans are incredibly dull and sanitised. And i genuinely think that might be the most cringeworthy promotion celebration in the history of English football. We must be the only club who think standing in their seats and politely clapping promotion is something to be proud of. No spontaneity, no passion. But our fans are a weird bunch. I mean even the likes of Reading and Bournemouth had a pitch invasion....
-
1 pointSurprised badly isnt here proclaiming that we need to wait in case we have some financial irregularity or an unregistered player or are harbouring a known felon or are found to be engineering biochemical weapons for Isis or have been colluding with the Zandarian intergalactic anti-leeds conglomeration...any thing that might mean a points reduction...
-
1 pointI love this team. From the young lads like Aarons and Godfrey through to the experienced players like Pukki and the bit part players like Klose. What a group.

1 pointCongratulations on your certain promotion, which is richly deserved. I've been hugely impressed with your football. Which looks very Premier League to be fair. I can't believe that we are still in with a shout of caching you with 2 games to go. It's been a hell of a season, and neither of us were high in the betting at the start, so we can both be very proud, and only hope that we can keep our respective Managers.
-
1 pointI think it's all cantwells fault. We should have started ubuntu against reading and wigan and we would have had no bad gateways in either match.

1 pointHmm if we go up what do we need.. A head coach who has brought a style of play that is exciting for the fans to watch, that is a winning formula and who has galvanised a squad into a young, upwardly mobile unit that doesnt know when its beaten. A sporting director who can find and pluck players from places other never dreamed of and are suitable to fit into the ethos that the head coach has built and installed into his lads. A loan department that mostly gets right players going out and players coming in and all the individual situations associated with each loan. A football club that will absolutely demand and get top dollar for any of our stars that gets bought by a higher and wealthier club than ours. Daniel Farke, Stuart Webber, Neil Adams, NCFC. I believe the main ingrdients are already in place.
