.....to be Daniel Farke right now? To be on the cusp of something so seemingly unachievable a mere 33 games ago. The combination of pride, trepidation, excitement and expectation is a heady mix. Yet there he stands, the coolest of cucumbers overseeing the relentless machine that Norwich City FC are becoming. His calm demeanor around the pitch can be summarised in one 2 second video clip as he winked to camera while Paul Lambert was losing his head. He knew we had them and he was enjoying it. I know we are not ' there yet ' I just wanted to express my thanks for the season so far. And to wish him and the players the best of fortunes in facing the 'complicated topics' ahead.

I think we should turn up at Portman Road and wave tenners.

Yeah, I don't remember feeling any wrath for Pritchard.

Ipswich getting relegated is a positive! 😁

Yes indeedy. He sounds so negative that it makes every game depressing to listen to. Let's hope he doesn't volunteer for the Samaritans - to quote Red Dwarf - "Everyone he spoke to killed themselves, even the wrong number."

It's not fair, no one's ever called me a Binner. I respect your altruism wooster, in other circumstances it could be admired, but the nature of our rivalry with that lot down the road is such that flawed human beings, such as myself, get immense pleasure from their current plight. In addition PL has conducted himself so poorly since leaving CR that I cannot feel anything other than glee at his continued failure. If Pl had shown any signs of respect, class, humility or even realism in the years following his departure I might have been able to cut him some slack, but his absolute lack of respect, class, humility and grasp on reality mean that he deserves all the vilification that he gets on this forum.

Surely it's simply a case of "mission accomplished" so no need to hang around any longer

Nice embrace at the end of the game between Hanley and Hernandez I think (may have been Emi). Players like Rhodes, Klose, Hanley, Passlack must all be praised for their attitudes this season. Being kept out of the team by players playing well, but to my knowledge none of them have grumbled. Can think of certain players (Nelson perhaps) who might well have complained and undermined the team effort as a whole. Lambert's wingless warriors had a fantastic team spirit, but this team seems to equal that, and play so well as a team, rather than a bunch of individuals. They have been so impressive this season, on an individual level, and as a team. How much I wonder of that comes from the management, and how much of it is down to the characters of the players (bearing in mind the management decided who to bring in and who to ship out - Oliveira, Marshall, Watkins etc) Something is very right at this club right now, and long may it continue. There will be challenges that come along which will threaten it all. I hope we make the right choices when they come

Am I taking pleasure in Ipswich’s relegation to league 1? Here’s a few tweets from their fans after our hilarious equaliser against them last season... “You can get odds on Nodge being in league 1 in 5 years. As soon as I audited their accounts I asked William Hill.” “You have a salary budget you can’t afford and owners who aren’t willing to (and won’t look for an investor who will) cover the annual losses you will start incurring within the next 2 years. Unless they do one or the other, you’ll be back in League 1 within 5 years.” “Correct. Norwich have been badly managed. This new project is hellacious. They have done it because it’s cheap. The fans don’t see it. 😂” “Worse. Our owner is covering £5/6m a season losses. It’s a paltry investment, but it’s investment. Your owners have said they won’t invest and won’t accept outside investment. So you will have to cope on your natural income, which isn’t enough to be competitive.” “We can afford to be in debt to ME who just writes it off in his companies. You can’t afford to be in debt. Uour owner can’t do that. You’re financially ****ed and will be in league 1 in 3 seasons” Yes I am, I’m taking great pleasure in it!

Absolutely no reason to bear a grudge against Pritchard, the deal was right for all concerned - don't be so childish.

Too late for that Herman. I have it that my home shirt is the only one that brings luck to home games and when watching on TV, we always score if the wife's tortoiseshell cat is sitting on my lap! (It claws my leg to hell when we do and I jump up)

Same. Player took a chance to play at a higher level, we were well compensated and the money helped us rebuild.

Ahhh Nikki Sixx! I remember the video for Girls Girls Girls was quite interesting. I must've rewound that a few times to make sure I understood the entire context of it. 😉

Yes I do know the song now that you described it. Not really my cup of tea, in 83 I was more into Scorpions, Blackfoot and Motley Crue.

1983 SR - New Order released Blue Monday with the opening line "How does it feel..?". It was the biggest selling 12" single of all time. You'd know it if you heard it...video below. Few years earlier it appears Til (allegedly) got into Blue Movies and is a Ron Jeremy fan as opposed to 'Long' John Holmes or Dirk Diggler. You'll have to ask him for links to the videos though!

Could not agree more! Good managers like DF and Lambert who looked at the players attitude as well as football ability. Only then can you build a great team spirit, which Lambert and Farke teams had, and have in abundance. As you pointed out, that came across from those on the bench. Just hope this keeps them together next season.

Maybe a new song so we can remember this epic season for years to come? To the tune of Status Quo - 'Down down' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKe2OfXLxuc Town down, City are crowned Town down, Lambert will frown Town down, Run by a clown Town down, dogsh1t and brown I want all of the tractors to see To see we're laughing, and we're laughing in glee 10 years, City unbeaten to you Again again again again Again again again and you're going down Town down, City are crowned Town down, Lambert will frown Town down, Run by a clown Town down, dogsh1t and brown Lots of insane improvised dancing would need to take place as it is sung. Lambert has won 6 of his last 48 games, across 3 clubs. That's a 12.5% win ratio. Absolutely shocking and a lesson to us all, the grass isn't always greener!

The money we received from ALL of last season's sales has been used wisely, therefore it was right to sell them. Can we possibly have expected anything better in the league over what we now have with any of Pritchard, Maddison, Howson or the Murphys in the squad? We now also remain debt free, have some funds in the bank and can hopefully look forward to a Premier League/Television money bonanza next season at least. If it had been frittered away then there would be cause for regret. Pritchard came and went. That is all. We benefited from his brief spell at Carrow Road and although the brevity of it caused surprise, and anger in some, it has been proven to be the right thing to do. NCFC have had many far bigger mercenaries than AP at Carrow Road over the years.
