6 pointsWould love that vs Wednesday, the day before my wedding watching with all my family and friends there.
-
5 points'Dismissed out of hand'. Either that or explained why it's probably not possible and even if it was would be extremely difficult to pull off.
-
4 pointsBeg your pardon...who the f#ck are you? ...and the difference is....if I need to spell it out to a dimwit such as yourself...he was able to back up what he said here with results on the pitch Back under your rock

3 pointsI predict promotion will be confirmed against Sheffield Wednesday on Good Friday. Wouldn't it be lovely if Ipswich got relegated on the same dayπ

2 pointsNice embrace at the end of the game between Hanley and Hernandez I think (may have been Emi). Players like Rhodes, Klose, Hanley, Passlack must all be praised for their attitudes this season. Being kept out of the team by players playing well, but to my knowledge none of them have grumbled. Can think of certain players (Nelson perhaps) who might well have complained and undermined the team effort as a whole. Lambert's wingless warriors had a fantastic team spirit, but this team seems to equal that, and play so well as a team, rather than a bunch of individuals. They have been so impressive this season, on an individual level, and as a team. How much I wonder of that comes from the management, and how much of it is down to the characters of the players (bearing in mind the management decided who to bring in and who to ship out - Oliveira, Marshall, Watkins etc) Something is very right at this club right now, and long may it continue. There will be challenges that come along which will threaten it all. I hope we make the right choices when they come

2 pointsI remember the 1966 World Cup final my father couldn't stand the tension of the last ten minutes and went down the greenhouse. I couldn't understand it at the time. but I do now.

2 pointsSurely it's simply a case of "mission accomplished" so no need to hang around any longer

1 pointMatch day here , nerves kicking in β nightmare having to wait until 5.30pm to start, booked to see Dumbo ( no not Paul Lambert) at cineworld Middlesbrough to pass the time, 10 minutes from the ground, with 10 year old daughter. Every time I see that flying elephant I will think of Pulis , with his big ears and thank you lucky stars that I am a Norwich fan!!!

1 pointTo achieve promotion at home to Weds would require us to then be 9 points clear plus better goal difference over Leeds of Sheff Utd Not sure if we will be in that position at that time However I would suggest that it could well be a case of us then having to lose all three remaining games with one of the others winning all ther remaining three. The games leading up to Weds game do suggest that we can hit 90 points by then, and after the three results today I don't see us as being the team who will drop away. "Hello, this is Delia........yes, that Delia " "You do.....the open top bus is available the second week of May...good" "Yes, it is a firm booking.......and I'll send young Tom round with the deposit ...when he's pumped up the tyres on his bike"

1 pointBig win, I'm absolutely buzzing right now. Seven points clear of 3rd with seven games to go, and QPR, Reading and Wigan up next. Barring a car crash of epic proportions, we're going up!

1 pointSummer of 1970, we moved to London, before that I was football mad but with no dad around had no influences. Once I started school I realized that there was only one Team that I should be supporting. I didn't know the players or even which Division we were in. I didn't get to see a game until 75 when Geoff Butler scored at Millwall. I became known by my mates as 'Norwich' and I remember going to Highbury in the late 70s v. West Ham, got separated from my mates in the North Bank, one of them spotted me, shouted Norwich! and nearly caused a riot. Fun times.

1 pointHeaven for me used to be playing, but am in my late fifties now, gave up playing in an over 30s league at 51. Am proudest of winning an u30s tournament at 42..... the losers complained I shouldn't be playing cos of my age, a bit like Ipswich complaining that it was unfair to play us when we had parachute payments....a drowning team will clutch at any straw. Westo..... Wouldn't 22 bags of wind kicking around a player ( pick any of Tim krul, Russ, even steeps last season) be more of an apt description of this forum? Agree though that his story is an interesting one, surely they enter a footy team into the Olympics ....will have to check on that. I always used to cheer on the Cuban boxers since I saw a peice on how they were amazed at the quality and variety of food available at the games, those boys were tough, as it seems is Onel.

1 pointI'm going for a home win for Juventus v. Empoli. Juventus are W12 D2 L0 F32 A9 at home and Empoli are W0 D4 L9 F12 A30 away. Good Luck, KiwiScot! For the Norwich Bet - Zimmermann to score any time. Good Luck, Diane!
-
1 pointI'll go for Barcelona to beat Espanyol please. For the Norwich bet, Godfrey to score in a 1-0 win to us. Good luck everyone.
-
1 pointI'll go with Leeds to beat Millwall at home @ 8/15 For the Norwich game, how about Ashley Fletcher to score first, but Norwich to win at 55/1? Their last two home matches they've led through Fletcher then lost 1-2. Lightning may strike thrice.
-
1 pointGood luck KiwiScot and Diane My friends in Fleetwood expect an away win at Accrington so I'm opting for that. For our game, a 3-2 Norwich win.
-
1 pointHello everyone. My pick for KiwiScot is a home win for CHARLTON v Bradford City. For Diane, i think the game with Middlesbrough will be tight, but I have a good feeling that we will win 1-0 ππ. Good luck to you both and to all the other pickers.

1 pointHissing Sid sent me his selections :- Eintracht Frankfurt v VfB Suttgart Home Win For the match bet 1-0 win for City.

1 pointIf (hopefully when) we do go up, I hope we don't panic and demand Farke's resignation when we get a few defeats. A bit of patience is needed. We're not going to be able to cope with the billionaire clubs, and our destiny next season will be defined by games against the lesser clubs and the occasional surprise result against the so called big boys.
