This is of course not great news for us, but come on people, in the scheme of things, the people we should be really feeling sorry for are the good supporters and people of Bolton! I couldn’t imagine the same thing happening to us, that is just unthinkable quite frankly, if it did then I’d support Norwich United. But screw a few clubs including us losing a few points or whatever (we’ll win the league anyway) - let’s have a heart folks because many good people, including that nice YouTube lass, could lose their ENTIRE club!! I really hope it works out ok for Bolton supporters, fingers crossed🤞

Wigan. On a Sunday. On a bus. Think you mean ex-wife fella.

I'll pm you before I post again westcoasto, to let you know whether I'm serious or not. You needn't reciprocate, as I'm aware that you are serious. The stats prove it.

What's criminal here is that you got 7 "lols" and I haven't got a bean! Next time I'm not teeing anyone up for a joke!

She booked the tickets, I was in two minds! She also went to Bournemouth on her own in the League Cup because I had work commitments. Keeper.

Has Paul joined the new forum yet? No thread about minute's silences would be complete without his input.

No need to panic. We will keep the points. Someone will buy Bolton for £1 and they will carry on.

So, not a Binner then kg? Definitely not Splendid! Don't hate them as I just love our club so no other team matters. I enjoy some of the humour aimed at them and I expect them to come back at us with their "history" but it matters little to me as many of those quoting it probably weren't even born. I'm looking ahead to the Boro game.

Normally I would agree with you but our German friends tend to lose their sense of humour when it comes to Hitler. I think they would find it quite offensive

That would, at least, give the Binners a win and a reason to build another statue!

If they do go to the wall, and I hope it doesn’t happen, wouldn’t it be fairer to treat any remaining games Bolton have as 3 points for whoever plays them? Chances are that is what would have happened and it fairly reflects the previous actual results.

“ ..........You can feel that we are just having fun this season." Not quite how a native English speaker would have put it, but you know exactly what he means. I've commented several times about our team so obviously enjoying their football. The word I'd use is "joyous". All we need now is a happy ending 👍 I still have to pinch myself when I see Mo in a Norwich shirt. It reminds me of how I felt when Martin Peters signed. I couldn't believe it at first . Playing in the EPL would give ML the stage he deserves.

I’m hoping someone will do one for the Ipswich supporting Adolf when he finds out what’s happened this season 😁

Agree, not 100% sure it's completely necessary. Especially when you cast your mind back to some of the fouls that don't get a yellow card - hardly equal in severity! I wonder what the ref would have done if JM had already been on a yellow... Off topic but, before reading the article, I thought this was about JM not getting into the England squad. How Delph, Barkley and Loftus-Cheek get in the squad, with their handful of PL apps, get in before him is ridiculous - considering he's technically Europe's most creative player! Great player, top lad.

That ended well the next time we played them at Wembley didn't it?!

I cannot remember there being a minutes silence for the 100 who were killed by a car bomb in Kabul 21st Jan 2019... maybe with that not happening in a 'white' country then it is not that important. And it is not 'your choice' as you are obliged to remain silent for those you do not know. The original silence after WW1 was for those who would have known someone killed or maimed. Likewise the singing of Abide with me at cup finals after WW2. We laughed at North Koreans showing excessive public displays of grief after the death of Kim Jong il, but how much better are 'we' in relative terms ? Is there a minutes silence at theatres and cinemas, if not will it soon become the required norm ? And who decides what is worthy......the individual, or corporate good ?

Not the BBC making this criticism but a lawyer who used to be employed by the FA, and the BBC are reporting it. There is a difference between clubs individually making the decision to have a minutes silence and the Premier League and EFL telling all clubs to hold a silence before their games. I guess that is what the person making the complaint is talking about. Seems a bit of a nothing, but this is the rod the Premier League and EFL have made by having minutes silences for any global events - you do it once, you’ll have to do it every time

The professional foul was finally made a red card offence following this heinous act, Generation A47. Willie Young of course went on to play for us.

We have no cup finals left Lakey, the teams that we have left to play won’t really be trying at all because we’re only little old Norwich and they will roll over for us, just as they have all season which has led to us being in this false position of Number 1 - I guess we are just very lucky we aren’t Leeds, a club whom, in the face of huge adversity, have brought Wembley to the opposition week in week out every weekend since September, just how they’ve got to third in those Saturday pressure cooker games that are only akin to a Champions League semi final, god only knows and they should be commended.

I don't know how to do links but I was hoping for a picture of KK at 80, looking more like a human being.

Ridiculous Gutbustius. Is he trying to eat that microphone? It looks like someone has put on headphones and then pumped his head up.

It's amazing what three consecutive 1-1 draws can do for the spirit.

After so many years of Championship mediocrity they finally have something different to look forward to. Look at it like breaking up with your steady girlfriend of years because things have been going nowhere and things take a turn for the worse. They'll be a period of depression when you come to terms with the fact it's over and your life feels like it's ending, but then you'll meeting some bird in a bar that's not as good looking but it's new and exciting for the first few months figuring out what dirty stuff she'll do. You may even convince yourself you're better off, until your mates stop speaking to you, you discover the places she likes to frequent are dark, smelly, dingy hellholes and she's given you an STI. (Meanwhile the guy you used to work with and had a friendly rivalry is dating a stunner and doing really well for himself.)

The fact that the comment has been repeated must say something. WBA beat Rotherham 4-0 earlier this season and didn't resort to falling over at the slightest provocation. Your right back had an outstanding game today and without his contribution you would have looked bang-average. Just telling it as I see it.
