Different servers nutty, the old forum is like Mick McCarthy, we beg to get rid of it but then the new one keeps letting us down

It can't be due to volume of users because there were far more after the Millwall game last season...

I thought this deserved a thread of its own. There's clearly a bit of Norwich City left in him: Pretty much every face is hilarious. I should add a credit to TGS Photo Agency before someone pulls me up about it.

Thompson impressed me the most of all the youngsters a year or so back. He's had a tough time alright. Always saw him as Alex Tettey successor. Hope he gets back to his best, with us.

Had always hoped it'd happen in my lifetime and they've done it in total style!

There is a bit of a gap at the bottom isn't there - well done Nelson. Last five games: Ipswich 3 points, Bolton 3 points, Rotherham 7 points, Reading 8 points, Millwall 4 points, Wigan 4 points, so the gap continues to grow, not shrink.

HAhahahahha - for a split second I thought you were saying he'd scored too! Seen that multiple save now - magnificant - bo11ocks to all those ar5eholes who were slating him earlier in the season.

26 years ago, when we're at or near the top of the premier League I was in the smoking area at Dublin airport, when I was joined by Paddy Crerand, he noticed my canary pin on my jacket and as we were chatting he told me he was picking up an Irish lad coming from Limerick to take him over to man u, but the lad was late. So as a wind up I told him that the reason the lad was late was because he wasn't coming as he'd just signed for us in the McDonald's and I'd put him on a a plane to Stansted a few minutes earlier, dozy eejit fell for it hook line and sinker!! I left him in a bit of a state and boarded my plane to Agadir. Always nice to aggravate a man u man.

I’m just fervently hoping we win today and all these Leeds fans will magically disappear from our forum again .

Leeds have lost half their games since the turn of the year...yes they can win a game like tonight, then go and chuck in a stinker out of the blue. Think we are consistently better....and when we get the ball down there is NOBODY in this league that plays the football, with the speed and precision we do, Leeds included....and the game at Elland Rd a few weeks back merely adds evidence to that

Get in, Leeds were already celebrating at 1-1, they should know us better than that! I respect our opposition, but we will win the league, we have just that extra little edge on our rivals I feel.

Steve Morison is such a clever, dangerous player. Outwits defenders time and again.

Relax ricardo. We are currently 2 points up on matching our first meeting results against the teams we have left to play. A draw would see us matching those earlier results overall, and even if we lose we would only be one point down. If we match the results overall we will finish with 96 points ...........

I will have in a few mins just watching arsenal spurs.

Got to say that is probably the strongest bench I've ever seen in this division.
  38. 1 point
A bench made up mainly of players who would start in most Championship sides

Yes. Anyone else suddenly become critical of other teams, especially in the prem, failing to keep the ball, misplaced passes, hoofing it forward? I think we've been assimilated into the Farke collective.

Absolutely ICF. It's getting to be like "my dad is better than your dad". And only appearing when they're winning.

Oooooo wooopedey do, the power of Facebook. I'm sure they'll be considering cancelling if a hundred people can be bothered to not like something.

Over 100 people commented on Fakebook that it was awful and shouldn't have been allowed. (P.s. None of them actually went.)😉

You would hope so, but all they really want to do is sell subscriptions I imagine. I have to say that as far as radio commentaries are concerned, having listened to Norwich games broadcast on other local radio stations, Radio Norfolk provides one of the best informed commentaries of the lot.

The best team I have seen at Carrow Road this season is Leeds, absolutely no doubt. However for the first 15 minutes, that match was all City. The best team I have seen at Elland Road is Norwich, and many would agree I believe. On that basis, we both should go up, but it does not work like that. If Leeds do eventually get promoted it would nicely take the limelight of us (if we were also to be promoted). My only fear is that Leeds, if promoted will blossom into a decent Prem team and therefore not take up a relegation place. For amusement factor only, I would like us to finish above Leeds though.

Leeds being top keeps the BBC and the football press happy.

If we win tomorrow, that’ll put WBA 9 points behind and then if Leeds beat Sheff U (what a game that should be, by the way!!), I think it’ll seal it for Leeds and us. but, as others have said - it’s all about us getting the results.

Thanks Mandie, I love your thinking. And these look like a winning six to me. I've placed them with Bet365 where the potential return is £64.27. Here are the details ; - AC Milan 1/2 14:00 Sat Portsmouth 13/20 15:00 Sat PSV 2/11 18:45 Sat Vitesse 4/11 19:45 Sat Copenhagen 2/11 15:00 Sun Sporting CP 4/11 20:00 Sun So we have four tomorrow and the last two on Sunday finishing with Sporting at 8pm. Sporting sealing the win would be special indeed. Good luck Mandie and all you PUPs🙃 Good luck

Doesn't it make one feel really good about the way things have gone this season, we are defying the odds, we are where we are because of good management at all levels of t'club. Not because we have gambled the family jewels and more to flirt with the FFP regulations. The bravery shown by DF and the younger players that he ' threw in at the deep end'' has played a big part in putting us at the head of the table. If, god forbid, it all goes **** up and we don't go up, the progress we have made is remarkable. I know the vultures will be circling, eyeing up our players, but I also feel that as a club we are strong now and whatever sales are made, will be on our terms. We've got next season to think about, not last.
